We have been coming to Priya for years. We love their food and it has always been consistently tasty and good quality. The owners are very sweet and are always friendly. We definitely recommend Priya for delicious Indian food.

There are several Indian places in the area, but the thing that makes this place stand out is the Southern Indian food. Order the Dosas. We had the Mysore Masala Dosa and the Masala Dosa and both were here excellent. Can't wait to go back.

2024Another visit after 5 year. I am glad I ordered the same Dal Tarka, Garlic Naan and onion pakoda. Very nice taste.I was afraid after reading the recent reviews. Don’t know about other dishes but for the authentic taste try the above items and you will not regret.Spice level : HOT is recommended for authentic taste.2019We went for dinner and tried Yellow Dal and Malai Kofta at spice level Hot. Dal was very nice, it was South Indian style with spinach but we really liked it.Keep it up.

Went to the lunch buffet and my wife didn’t want to have the buffet so she ordered tikka masala. The server took her order and it was placed at the table prior to me returning from the buffet (very odd). The masala didn’t taste like masala at all! And I have no clue how the made the meal in less that 4 minutes! The server gave us water and then never came back to the table. Instead of helping us they watched TV and I had to walk up to ask for the bill and a box to go.Overall bad experience and would not recommend anyone to go here.

I am very disappointed even before eating because I ordered delivery with specific instruction that I need plasticware and napkins and definitely no spoon fork and napkin. Those should be packed even without instruction anyway for a delivery order. Even fast food chain restaurants do that, and you didn’t after specific instructions. How am I supposed to eat? You would say with hand, but Raita or daal with hand? No.AND instead of fruit salad in desert you gave me rice pudding!!! Seriously?! Seriously?!Packaging is terrible, raita bowl lid broken. All this curry raita and semi liquid Indian food packed in such flimsy cups with loose lids. You are lucky that the delivery person was really good he didn’t spill anything.What are you people doing?!!I would give you negative rating if I could, which I generally don’t do.

Chicken Tikka Masala is AMAZING! I never had Indian cuisine before coming to Priya. I have been missing out all these years of amazing tasty food that make my tastebuds sing. They have a buffet as well that has good tasting food. I highly recommend Priya to people visiting Redding and people who call Redding home.

The food in Priya Indian Cuisine Restaurant is just flavorsome! The service is unique and friendly! The place is welcoming for everyone! It's a must try in Redding!
Food was not that delicious. Dosa was over cooked and sambar was too watery and no flavor in it. I was so excited to eat dosa and sambar but after getting the food I was very disappointed. The Indian coffee we ordered was so bad. I ordered tandoori chicken for my son. It was the worst chicken ever it had no flavor. Usually tandoori chicken is my son’s favorite dish. But he didn’t like it. I would not recommend this place to eat.
