Just had the two meat special; brisket + pork ribs. I also ordered the side of beans. I have to say, the brisket was pretty tough and cold but was tasty though. Ribs were seasoned nicely but somewhat juicy but also a little dry. I was not too impressed. Maybe I had the ribs and brisket that might've been cooked early in the morning. It's worth the shot if you're looking for some decent barbecue.

Okay, I have to confess that I haven't stayed true to my BBQ roots ............... but I'm back. To the point: it's about the smoke! And I now realize what I've missed. First, overall the restaurant is on a side street and parking, at limes, is challenging. It's a fairly small establishment. The staff is very friendly. This isn't a chain; there are 2 locations here and in Beaumont. As you can see from my pic, we ordered the pork rib rack. It came dry rubbed, no sauce, cooked on it but there was a side container of BBQ sauce. As you can see from my pic, the ribs had the requisite smoke ring and the super bark. Their sauce was good: tomato based, a bit sweet and slightly white vinegary tangy. The meat held to the bone, but pulled off readily with each bite. But far more important was the smokiness. The smoke was heavy enough to cut through the sauce, yet didn't over power the sauce flavors - I missed this from other local rib places. We'll definitely be back.

I was expecting much. Bbq is hard to get right. I got the brisket plate. A little expensive but i can see why. Wow this is great bbq and they give u a hefty amount of meat. Come here now. I will be going back soon.

Came in today (3/23/2024) and ordered the brisket and burnt end fries and it was delicious. The amount of food for the price is perfect. Their BBQ sauces are good, too. The ghost pepper sauce wasn't too spicy, but it has a lingering heat. The staff was nice and the food came out in a good time. Will definitely be back.

Not bad. Will need to try it again another day and see if any better. had take out, only got 3 small different sauces for about 2 & 1/2 lbs of meat, the sauces were ok......I'm a big sauce guy so I had to go buy some from stater brothers to kick it up a notch.

My friend and I stopped by here during a walk downtown and we got the pulled pork breakfast burrito and it was actually pretty good. I'm not a breakfast burrito person but my friend and I both enjoyed it. we tried the different bbq sauces they had and they were all good i especially like the regular Kansas regular bbq sauce it went really nice with the burrito in my opinion. I would definitely like to try their lunch/dinner menu next time!

We opted for the 3 meat meal featuring ribs, brisket, and sausage, and every bite surpassed our expectations. Even as someone who isn't typically a fan of BBQ sauce, I was blown away by the quality and variety offered here. I appreciated that they don't smother the meats in sauce but provide four options to suit every taste. My sister indulged in the fries with brisket and cheese sauce, a combination that left her delighted and thoroughly satisfied. As for the sides, both the potato salad and mac and cheese were standout dishes that perfectly complemented our meats. Beyond the delicious food, the customer service was exemplary, adding to the overall positive experience. The restaurant's location and ambiance further enhanced our dining pleasure. Cornerstone BBQ is undeniably the best BBQ spot in town. I'm willing to pay a good price for quality meat and sides. It's BBQ and any good BBQ is going to be a litte pricey but overall the price isn't too bad either.

Cornerstone BBQ truly lives up to its name as a cornerstone of deliciousness. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of smoked meats tantalizes your taste buds. The brisket melts in your mouth, the ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, and the sauces are the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Whether you're a BBQ connoisseur or just craving some comfort food, Cornerstone BBQ is sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you wanting more.

We indulged in a BBQ feast @cornerstonebbq that included all the classic favorites - pork belly, brisket, ribs, potato salad, coleslaw, bbq baked beans, double smashed burger, cheddar sausage, and meat fries. The pork belly was perfectly smoked, with a crispy exterior and melt-in-your-mouth tender meat. The brisket was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The meat was so tender that it practically fell apart with each bite. The ribs had a sticky and savory BBQ glaze that complemented the meat well. The BBQ baked beans were hearty and rich. But the real standout was the double smashed burger. The juiciness and flavor of the beef patty, and the addition of the cheese was simple yet perfect. The cheddar sausage was also delicious, with a great blend of smoky and cheesy flavors. The meat fries were a unique and tasty addition to the meal. A match made in BBQ heaven.

I've been driving to Beaumont occasionally to eat BBQ at family owned Cornerstone. It's out of the way but worth it. Then I see an add that they are in Redlands. This place knocks it out of the park for BBQ, real smoked barbecue not boiled meat and then slathered with some lame sauce. And don't pass up the beans or potato salad. Both excellent. I smoke and BBQ a lot. This is equal or better. Help these guys make it in town. It's pricey but name me a good quality BBQ place that isn't. Their sauces are excellent as well.

A group of us 6 adults and 6 children stopped in here on our back home to San Diego and we were all blown away with how delicious and mouthwatering all of the food was! Personal favorites were the ribs, pork belly, and their corn side dish but literally, everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned, tender and amazing! You won’t regret coming here to enjoy this newly opened, family owned establishment.
