Walked in at 400pm on a Wednesday with 1 patron in a booth. Sour faced hostess shuffled to us pointing to the first booth and as I sat down before my mom we were told "30 minute wait"...we were just sitting down in a restaurant of 1 patron and it would take 30 minutes...do they catch the fish upon order of that dish? No thank you...very disappointed

We tried this sushi spot and it did not disappoint. We ordered the South Africa, Celia, Bobby and Deborah rolls. The fish was amazing quality and the sushi was not only wonderfully flavored but beautifully presented. The only critique if I have to give it one is the restaurant seemed understaffed. We will definitely be back again.John 14:6

We entered around 6:30pm in a Friday evening , there were around 4-5 tables of people, still 2-3 empty tables. The waitress came to us with a poker face, left one word, “we do not take any customers now”. What! ???With a big “Open” sign outside, are you kidding me! With my many many years experience eat outside, this was the first time having been treated like this. 6:30pm is the right time to eat dinner, right? So what? We won’t come back at all! At least we deserve a reason……????

Very unpleasant experience.not even a “hello” upon entering their business, then told there’s a 30 min wait to be seated and there was literally only 3-4 tables that were occupied.just plain rude all around. If chefs backed up,she could’ve at least said that and offered us a seat and we would’ve been fine waiting. As a business owner in Redlands I thought this was very unprofessional. And honestly I took it as how we looked she was just flat out rude and judged us because we’re heavily tattooed…..well we’re tattoo artist.lol. I understand that maybe they do a lot of to go orders, but as a sit down restaurant, there should be some kind of niceness to people visiting them especially when there’s 2/3 of the tables unoccupied. Definitely will never try or recommend this place again. ?

Service is not great, not very friendly. I’ve picked up to go orders twice here and they only give you less than half a little cup of sauce if you ask for it.

The service is great and the food is even better. Great family- run restaurant. The sushi rolls are the right size and very tastey.

A little mom and pop sushi spot, The sushi was sooo good and it's a nice little quiet spot. Definitely will be our new spot to go. The service was really good, they made the food really quick and made sure we were taken care of. Absolutely loved this spot

This place is a true mom and pop restaurant. Yes their service is a bit different. They often don't seem busy but they take a lot of to go orders. So yes sometimes you have to wait for a table even if the restaurant is slow. There is only one woman who waits tables and one man who makes the sushi. The sushi here is always fresh and delicious. My boyfriend likes this place because they have great veggie rolls. By far the best place in Redlands. I also think they have the best prices. If your looking for a place where the staff sucks up to you and your treated like royalty then pick somewhere else. The couple who runs this place are very friendly, just not overly bubbly . Be nice to them, they own a small business in these crazy times. Anyone complaining about the service here is use to the service they get at cookie cutter chain restaurants.

Walked in and wasn't a great start because the waitress gave me and my family a weird look and then tell us that they couldn't serve us because they were "out of rice" how do you run out of rice at a sushi restaurant?!

I recently visited this sushi restaurant with friends, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Our server, an older lady, lacked basic customer service skills. She consistently attempted to clear our table, even picking up dishes with leftover food. To make matters worse, we were abruptly told to leave as the restaurant was closing for lunch. This was an unexpected and uncomfortable situation, and it greatly impacted our overall impression. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the dining experience for others.

Lady serving is rude & if you’re hungry do not come here.. you’re only allowed to order one roll at a time then she tells you you can’t order until the next table gets their food but she brings your check. You’re rushed to eat and leave. Never asked if we needed ANYTHING. The rolls are okay.. nothing you can’t get anywhere else & with better atmosphere.
