A convenient location to the Pier and hotels along Harbor Drive. Typical Whole Foods. Very clean, very well organized and friendly staff

Like most reviewers say it's not as clean or spacious as other locations, but they have the same stuff. I find bargains every time I stop by. Two things I don't like... 1. for produce bags, they don't use biodegradable bags like Trader Joe's or Lazy Acre. 2. Bakery is no better than typical grocery store quality, using non-organic ingredients, but the prices are high. Everything I tried so far was too sweet and lacked good ingredients. I have no faith in their bakery goods.

I just witnessed an act of kindness between a Whole Foods Employee and an elderly man. I need to share. While shopping at Whole Foods they announced that they had to close early due to the mandatory curfew imposed on LA County. While I was walking out of the store, people were walking up wanting to go in the store. An employee of Whole Foods named Scotty stood at the entrance kindly telling people they were closed and he was sorry he could not let them in to the store. I then watched as an elderly man was walking up to the store. He said he just needed a carton of milk. Scott apologized to the man and said they were closed and he was not allowed to let any more customers into the store. Scott then told the man he was happy to get him the milk and bring it out to him. I watched as a carton of milk was brought outside to this man. The man asked if he could pay him and Scott told him not to worry about it he'd take care of it. Scott treated this man with such respect and got the man what he needed. He didn't know I was watching. When I got home, I called Whole Foods and asked the person who answered the phone who is Scotty. He replied, "the manager." I highly recommend this Whole Foods based on their customer service and leader Scott! Watching that moment today really warmed my heart.

Whole Foods? No. Not whole. Comparing with the other WFMs this one sucks in the areas of merchandising and cleanliness.

Selections and quality are decent, can't say prices are great compared to Lazy Acres, meat department staff are wonderful as well as quality, daily soups are not much in terms of variety but it's ok as Lazy Acres is outstanding, but the pizza to order is great highly recommend that. Juice bar is decent but I have to say Lazy Acres juice bar is outstanding.

I wish I could shop here more but prices are high and lines are long. I typically get coffee in the morning if I don't stop by midday for a small purchase. Lots of products to select from.

I like this Whole Foods location a little better because everyone there is a little calmer and more relaxed, more willing to help. Their hot bar is smaller, but rarely empty, unlike Whole Foods in El Segundo. The parking is pretty accessible, and they share the same plaza as Fresh Brothers, so super easy to shop, pick up some food, and then meander next door to get a whole cauliflower pizza for yourself. The only downside is that I overheard (not by choice) two of the deli employees talking loudly, and one of them said she thought Beyonce was overrated.

It's a small store. I prefer to go to another whole foods. But happy thses type of stores exist because they carry healthy foods regular stores do not. Please carry 100% grass fed organic liver thanks. See my pictures

This Whole Foods has the most organized produce section I've ever seen in my life. I didn't really check out the rest of the store because we were just in looking for marshmallows, but that produce section is really something to behold.

This Whole Foods location is poorly managed. There is little guy who is very intense who seems to be a manger. Whenever you see someone that intense and a store that is run so poorly - he's clearly focusing on the wrong things. The pizza is always disgusting looking. It sits out for a long periods of time, and there is no effort to make it look even mildly appetizing. I'm not expecting a food stylist from "Bon Appétit Magazine" to arrive on the scene and make things look good, but you should really strive to have standards better than a 7-Eleven. Also - the coffee is always out. It's always a joke between me and the other customers. Some of them know the nitty-gritty and will provide details like: "If Danielle is not here, you don't get any coffee." The only reason people come to this tiny little location is because it's convenient. If you can't run a store of that size well - your eye is not on the prize. I feel the managers at this store - especially that dude I mentioned above focus on minutia, mired in ego and power, instead of looking at the big picture of how to run things. It's like the type of personality that will go postal if you don't use a coaster at their house, but you notice the stairs out front are broken and someone is going to die on those steps. It's like that. You feel me?

How'd you earn another star? Bacon on the hot food bar! That, plus I found out from a long-time checker why no small carts at this smaller store: they get stolen. The big clunky carts get stolen, too, but the small carts disappear almost immediately, she told me. So WF, I forgive you & I'll stop complaining about those horrid huge carts that clog up the narrow aisles. I go to WF periodically, as I did today, to stock up on organic raw unsalted cashews. I also get unsalted walnuts for a cute squirrel that comes into my yard & eats my zinnias if I don't put nuts on the fence. Perhaps that's why I was inspired to buy a stuffed squirrel. It's hippie-dippy eco-friendly of course & so soft. Gonna be hard to part with it, supposed to be a gift for a little kiddo. Maybe. The old girl Bought a gray squirrel I say, without hesitation It's a nutty situation So now let's talk bacon: Torrance WF used to offer bacon on the hot food bar on Sunday but they had to stop cuz it weighs very light & the first person to see it would take it all. Shame on whomever. So early this morning, Saturday, I was shocked to see Applewood bacon on the hot food bar at Redondo location. "Expect nothing. Live frugally On surprise." - Alice Walker Mama raised me right so I took only several strips. The woman next to me took even fewer. There is hope for humanity. I rewarded that woman by sharing my tip for preventing bacon grease from penetrating thru the cardboard container: put a couple of those wax paper thingies from the bakery case on the bottom of the box. From the bakery I got a jalapeño cheese pretzel roll. At home I made a bacon sandwich on it with a big gob of Vegenaise (so much better than mayo). OMG heaven on a plate. Keep that bacon comin' WF & you gonna be lookin' at 4 stars.

This market sucks you in with attractive (advertised) savings on things like seafood, and then tells you they're not in stock and they don't know when the next delivery will come. Someone or something is consistently screwing up here in the management of the store and/or the supply chain system. It's overpriced, (that goes without saying) and really an annoying place to shop when it's all said & done. Despite my Amazon Prime membership, I am officially done with Whole Foods! Adios!

This Redondo Beach Whole Foods location gives more of a local market feel than a super market. Because of this fact, it feels like you can get in and out quicker, especially with a little one. As to be expected with all the locations, the produce was fresh and the attendants were really helpful. I stopped by this location in the early evening and what I was pleasantly surprised to find were short lines!!!! This particular location didn't have the moscato brand that I could buy at the Manhattan beach location, but for a quick stop I could definitely make this work. Parking was a bit congested, but I would chalk that up to the time that I visited. In the evening pretty much everywhere has parking issues. It may just be me, but I really like using the smaller carts with mini so finding they had a plethora of those was also a nice touch. Overall great shopping experience and I would use this location as my local corner store. For more niche brands I'll travel to the other bigger location down PCH.
