I ordered a chef salad with no eggs and blue cheese dressing, I received a green salad with bacon bits and vinegar and oil dressing. I had to find my waitress to ask if I had been given the wrong salad, to which she just said she would get me the missing blue cheese sprinkles and the avocado. The manager came over and never really apologized We never saw our waitress again. My husbands food was correct and delicious. I hope the waitress understood that with our $2.00 we were sending her a message to be a better server.

Excellent dinner tonight with friends. Had Chicken
This is my second weekend in a row having dinner at HT Grill to celebrate with friends. I have enjoyed the surf and turf both times because it's my favorite meal. They have a lobster tail that is amazing. Generous portions and everything is done to perfection. If you're not happy with part of the meal such as my best friend last night with her carrot cake, they will remove it from the bill. I do suggest they remove the carrot cake because it's very dry. The cookie pazuki though that is a delicious dessert! I highly recommend anything from the bar, especially the cucumber mojito.( I might have had three!) They have live music on some nights and it's a lot of fun. It's great! Inside and on the outside patio. They also have fire heaters so it's beautiful and romantic and only a block from the beach so you can walk down and see the ocean. I'll be back. Maybe not next weekend, But who knows. If I'm lucky maybe I will?

Food: 4/5 Inconsistent steak doneness, seems overcooked. So we order medium rare for medium. It came out perfect for the last visit. Best pineapple upside down cake. Service: 2.5/5 Feb 2024 visit: Requested low sodium and low fat, waiter said can't do low fat, will do low sodium. It's surprising not to be able to expect request from a restaurant as we aren't dinning at fast food restaurants. The food came out SOOOO SALTY! Only the steak was more edible. Last visit in January with a girl wait staff accommodated perfectly for 2 main dishes. Worst wait to ask for water, refill, utensils, etc. Ambiance: 4/5 It will be wonderful if arrived before sunset for seating outdoor. Always forget or due to many things, we end up arriving after sunset. Got to remember to enjoy the dinner watching sunset.

We had a birthday dinner at HT last night. Reservation was for indoor seating, but the music was so loud we couldn't think straight, so we switched to outdoor. Everyone but me in our party was in their 20's. There were heaters and a fire pit outside - but they didn't have enough to go around. Two staff told us they would bring us another heater and then our waitress came up and reported that they couldn't because they were all in use. It was really cold and windy. The food was great though and the birthday boy enjoyed the surf and turf!

Second time here in the past 2 months and both times the food has been amazing. I can not get over how they can manage to cook a steak medium better than high end steakhouses! The mashed potatoes and shrimp/calamari are incredibly tasty. Service is quick and friendly. One complaint was the noise level, Friday night @ 5:30 and it was LOUD. Everyone had to compete with the music. Probably perfectly fine to turn down 2-3 levels so customers can have a conversation more easily. By 6:30 it quieted down quite a bit. Looking forward to visiting again.

If you want good food, amazing service and an option to sit outside this is the place! You can't go wrong with their brunch or dinner menu. One of my favorite gems in Redondo Beach Happy Brunching!
We've been going there for years. The last two or three times there has been a new chef. As a result, the food items we have liked are no longer on the menu. One in our party prefers Coke over Pepsi. Now that don't have Coke. I realize that chefs like to make changes, but I hope they realize that they may lose business because of those changes. BTW the service was excellent!

This is one of my favorite places in the Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. On this night in January I ordered the Shrimp Pasta with Vodka sauce. It was very delicious! I also had a glass of wine and bread. Unfortunately, later that night, I had some stomach pain. I think it might have been the cream and I'm lactose intolerant. If you're not lactose intolerant, I would recommend this dish.

Solid bar and restaurant in Redondo Beach. Steps from the beach and they have a great happy hour. The staff is super nice and attentive….and their non-alcoholic drinks were tasty. Cheers to HTGrill!

We had our Valentine's dinner there. The service was impeccable. I'm very sorry I can't remember our server's name but he was friendly and efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. This was quite helpful. Food was fantastic. I had the shrimp appetizer and my companion had the clam chowder and we shared. So delicious. I had a Redondo Chelada that was just as I like it, very spicy and he had a mule - can't remember the name but it had 1701 in it. Again, delicious. Our mains were the halibut and chicken piccatta. Not to be repetitive but....again delicious. We usually visit HT for the Brunch (amazing). This is the first time we've gone for dinner. It won't be the last.
Had delicious Berry Bramble and Gold Rush drinks. Coffee old fashion was just ok. Poke nachos were scrumptious. Salad with ranch was good. Main was their Surf and Turf which can't be beat in the area. Perfect meat and seasoning on lobster. Wed is 1/2 off full bottle price which is a good deal on their whites. Had the carrot cake for dessert which was yummy. Our waiter and staff were attentive and great. Special Valentines dinner. Thank you!
