Food and service were excellent. Po Boys and beignets were wonderful. We would highly recommend this place. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

First time , walked in and seated immediately. Our server Salome (?) was wonderful. Personal and helpful with the menu . Loved her French accent . Several families seated and couples, looks like a good place to go after Church? . They have a Sunday brunch till 2 pm . Too late for us ,but was glad . We ordered the lunch special $18.00 of 1/2 po boy of choice, and a gumbo /gumbalaya/ bisque . Had the grilled shrimp , good size for 1/2 sandwich and a lot of shrimp . The Bayou bisque is sooo very good !! Lots of fish, white sauce on rice . Hubby had the gumbalaya , he liked it but liked mine more ! They have their hot sauces on the table , Pepper, chipotle, raspberry and garlic sauce . The garlic hot sauce isn't that hot , very tolerable for me and adds a little spice . Loved it ! Big jars for beverages! And our server left a carafe for us to refill .I ordered dessert to go , white chocolate bread pudding with the bourbon caramel glaze on the side $12.00. it probably is HEAVEN served warm at the restaurant but I ate some it at home at room temp. Sooo good ! All the desserts are made by the owner . Will be our new go to when we visit Redondo in the future!!Parking: Has their own parking lot but since we walked up to restaurant , we didn't check it outKid-friendliness: Very casual , families were present , popular for after churchWheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter and pull up at a table

Very sad to see how far this place has fallen. The first time I came, it had this awesome Cajun atmosphere and the food to match. Ate crawfish fettuccine that was stuffed to the gills with crawfish. Then came back a few years ago and it was still good even though the menu had changed. Now it is a sad, sad shell of what it once was. Food is bland and some cold. Feels like it all was made in a microwave. Oh, how they have fallen off.

Customer Service was cool. The atmosphere is decent as well. I wasn't a happy camper with my entree. It wasn't what I expected. I didn't complain. I just settled for it. Maybe I'll give it another try. Oh! The drinks are good, though.

Gumbalaya / jambalaya is not good.Food is okay .can't rave about it.Maybe because I have tasted the real creole/Cajun Food in the French Quarter in New Orleans. We did enjoy the Mardi Gras over the weekend.Three live bands.

They won't even consider that their customer may be right and admit they made an honest mistake. I ordered for takeout two 16 oz bowls of Bayou Bisque. They're at the bottom of the bag under the bread. Upon reaching home, I suspected the containers were smaller than it should be. Even emptied one out to pour in water to see how much it could hold. It only holds 12 oz filled right up to the rim. I poured from a liquid measuring cup. They dismissed my findings over the phone and insisted they gave me 16 oz. I suggested coming in might help them believe. They weren't very friendly about it, still insisting the container holds 16 oz. To the Server, it's highly possible you used the wrong container or read my order wrong right? You're not deliberately giving the customers less right? I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and you're not courteously giving me the same. Is it even worth it for me to make the 40 min roundtrip and have a confrontation for the expensive 2x4 oz of bisque = 2x $4 loss? If the response wasn't so unfriendly or unyielding, I wouldn't have even wrote this review. The lid is even coded -12 meaning it's 12 oz. I've been ordering from Ragin Cajun ever since they had the food truck in El Segundo. Even the owner recognized me back from the truck days when I first showed up in the restaurant years ago.I was even told that the amount I received was the same as what is served in the restaurant. To dine in customers, if you order a Bowl 16 oz, know that you are only getting 12 oz.All you need to do is take a step back Ragin Cajun and measure the amount of water your container holds to prove to yourself how much it holds.
