Very good. Cheaper than the other places, has variety of different types of ramen, and the workers are super nice.

My partner and I have been coming here nearly every 2 weeks for a long time and they have never let us down!! The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is always delicious. Lots of great vegetarian and vegan options as well! We recommend this place to everyone we know, 10/10!

Setting and service is excellent, but the Ramen is terrible. I didn’t realize it was all vegetable broth and it just plain sucks. We tried the Garnet Miso and the Pearl broths, both were average. Even the Chicken karage was not great. Go to Ramen Shack - 1000% better…

We struck gold. Highly recommend the special edition - Asian spicy ramen, where I’d say it’s Afuri meets Thai. The chef combines Thai chili with bonito base to create the umami flavor. The soup is clear, pristine, but flavor is deep and complex. The type that lingers in your mouth and the aroma continues. Noodles itself is perfectly cooked that bounces against the tongue. Pair each bite with the chashu, noodle, and a spoon of soup and you’ll be up in ramen heaven in no time.

Stay away from the pork gyoza. My kid and our friend got food poisoning on 2 separate occasions. Wife ordered vegan ramen with no onions. Came with onions. When we reminded the waiter that she had an allergy, they took it back and scooped some of the onions out before bringing it back...still with onions. The beer is good.

I've tried this place twice and at different locations. Each time I ended up with food poisoning. I really wanted to like this place but sorry. Never going back. Good ramen shouldn't get you sick.

My family has developed a ramen ratings scale. Rakkan is 10. We keep trying to find a better ramen but so far, no other ramen comes close. My fave is the spicy garnet. Kids love the regular garnet with extra pork.

Food was great. Waiters need to be more knowledgeable about menu. Atmosphere was a little chilly with door open, but decor was pretty. Hood to return soon with warmer clothing.

My favorite ramen restaurant. I can't pick a favorite main dish (I love them all), but my absolute favorite appetizer is definitely the takoyaki. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place was great!! Some of the best crispy gyoza we've ever had, and the takoyaki was very good and not too hot (normally it burns your mouth). The ramen was also very good, we got the Amber and Garnet. Personally I like the creamy broths but both had great flavor. Will be coming back soon!

A year later, and a second visit just like the first: good service and delicious vegan Garnet ramen. I love their plant based broth!

I'm pleasantly surprised with the delicious vegan options! Service was great, the food was great, and the prices were great!

The service was great but the ramen would range from mediocre to terrible. The taste of the base was plain and this was not a great ramen by any stretch of the imagination. The noodles were more like soba than ramen. Then there was very little meat for the price. The plates and museum quality presentation was good but the food suffers a great deal on the taste. Taste is a big deal but here you won’t find it. This place will close down because the quality is so low. Several LA ramen joints have a great product (ramen) but this is not one of them. I would definitely not try this location again. I would suggest to avoid or find a better place to get food ramen. This is not it.
