100% recommend getting the strawberry croissant! Lamination is done amazingly which makes every bite so flaky. The red strawberry stripes are also not just for aesthetic but are flavorful. And the biggest surprise was the lightly sweet strawberry cream that was in the center! I wish I could eat this everyday.

food is delicious but I don't like that their pastries are in an open shelf, it should be closed so flies and bugs don't get in there. The lady in her 50s has zero customer service. I called 1 day to order a salad as the website was down and she told me I had to order 24 hours in advance! what a joke!

The best strawberry croissant I've ever eaten. This is such a delicious bakery. The people are friendly. Great work spot as well

All their food items are top notch and consistent. If you have never tried their lemony tuna salad , it's a must! I haven't had it for a year and today had it for lunch . It was so good!

I wouldn't recommend the coffee (way too strong) but the pastries are amazing. The almond croissant for example has delicious almonds, marzipan and almond cream inside. Really special. The sandwiches are great. I usually only come here when getting my car done nearby, but recently I bought some large boxes for work parties and the communication and service made me appreciate this place even more. Highly recommend you check it out!

A gem of a place! We're always surprised more people haven't discovered that it's a wonderful place to work or read as well as a very tasty place for amazing pastries and sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and engaging. And it's a really nice, relaxing place to sit and have a coffee or drink. Also if you want to order cakes and larger orders for your office or parties it's been great for that too.

We have always ordered cakes at Cocolat bakery in Redwood city and have always been very happy. This time for Xmas we ordered 2 xmas logs and expected the usual round log decorated for xmas. We were totally crushed with how they looked when we picked up. it's half of a log lengthwise covered in smooth chocolate decorated with a few white thin chocolate square with pictures of Santa. While I am sure it's good, the logs look very puny and cheap. each cut will be very small. we feel so embarrassed to bring it to a dinner that we ended up buying a xmas log at Draeger's after paying $200+ for the logs. the other one is for a home dinner so we'll have to bear with it

This is a favorite local non-global-mega-corporate-chain in my neighborhood.

Cocola Bakery is a pastry and coffee spot known for their desserts. In my opinion, they do not serve the best coffee but their cakes are decent. I rarely come here and only stopped by when the other coffee locations inside the Stanford facilities are closed. I was craving for the banana espresso inside the Stanford cafe since they actually blend a whole banana with the espresso. That drink cost only $5.5 and it was tasty! Unfortunately, they closed because of the Thanksgiving holidays so I came here to grab a coffee drink before starting work. I saw that Cocola had a new banana mocha and decided to try it. Truthfully, it was gross! Tasted like someone just mixed a bit of chocolate into water and poured banana flavored sauce into the coffee. It was super watered down and cost more than the Stanford banana espresso. I was quite disappointed and actually tossed it away. I also ordered the keto breakfast bite and it tasted awful. I actually wanted to toss it away too but I was hungry and needed to eat breakfast. $6.50 for that and it did not satisfy my tastebuds. Same worker here every time I come and he is friendly. Desserts are displayed inside the store and there is a sit down area in the next room and outside. It is a good spot for people who are early for their appointments and waiting to be seen at Stanford clinic and infusion. Definitely not my to-go to spot but the cakes are good here (and expensive)!

Enjoyed a delicious slice of Mango Cheese cake. Not heavy, the mango did not over power.Service was quick and friendly. The only gripe is the parking, or lack of.Wonder how many people leave due to little parking?Parking: In an incorporated area of town that does not allow for enough parking for the amount of businesses.
