Extremely inefficient! You can keep waiting forever in the return line and the membership line . Horrible ! I get they may be poorly staffed but they will just be on their computers with a customer with no communication nor will they move it faster !

I went to Redwood City Costco this morning and on my way there at the corner of Middlefield and Willow. I think the street, there is man standing there waiting to cross the street. I said OK no big deal he has the right away. He still standing there he just staring at nothing I thought that's a little strange, so eventually he does cross the street and I just kind of ignore him. No big deal I go park my car go inside and shop coming out of Costco on the same corner almost, the same man standing there I'm like that's odd. Why is that guy just standing on the corner of Middlefield and Willow, then I thought about it. This is a very busy busy intersection and I've seen people, do fraud cases by making accidents looking like they got hurt on this corner I know it happened to a friend of mine who hit a bicyclist on this corner, beware people. Drive Carefully watch out for fraudulent persons pretending to get hurt to try to sue you. It's a very busy street/corner. Call the police get a hold of me. I will testify against this guy. Maybe I'm just paranoid. But still I've seen it happen to my friend years ago. Be careful of this scam.

This review is for the Tire department. Last Thursday I walk out of the gym at 8.15 pm to a dreaded low tire pressure warning. I Was at Marsh Road and with blinkers on made the trek out to Costco Redwood City. I want to give a shoutout to a couple amazing people there : it was past 8.30 pm but Chris and Luis were AMAZING and filled my tire back up and went and talked to their manager about my options for fixing the tire. Hedder and Jessie at the tire center were equally amazing. Finally I left my car overnight at Costco and came back in the morning as a walk-in to check my car in for a repair/replacement. I did not need a tire replacement and Chris was able to repair my flat - I am beyond grateful to Chris and Costco for making this flat tire experience a smooth one with very little angst.

It is always a good place with excellent price for family items purchase. Food court is also running good with existing system. The line for returns and membership services could be long sometimes.

The behavior of the managers at Costco towards customers is a matter of concern. There have been instances where employees have displayed inappropriate behavior towards women, making them feel uncomfortable. For instance, one employee even went as far as making a derogatory comment about my wife's appearance. Despite bringing this matter to the attention of the manager, who happens to be a woman, no action has been taken to address this issue. Given the lack of response and resolution, I am left with no choice but to consider legal action against Costco and hold the individual responsible for sexual harassment.

I swear god that Costco food court never answer the phone. I did coupe call for order pizza and they never answer it. It was frustrated and decide order in court! I noticed that Costco staff never pick their phone. I was like "Are you serious it simple to pick the dang phone". Not statistically with them!!!! Wish I could give them zero star!!!!!!!

Great gas prices! Nice seafood selection. Very nice produce. Larger quantities, but if you can find someone to split with or own a freezer it's a nice value.

After expending a good amount of money we went to get a slice of pizza because our toddler was hungry. We asked for a small water cup for the baby and they refused to give us one. They pretty much obligated you to buy something to drink knowing that the soda machine is out of service. Such a pathetic customer service...you just lost more than one family thanks to this experience because you denied water to a little toddler.

This place is discriminatory and make it nearly impossible for small businesses to shop here. I can't stand the management, the service, or the policies of this place. Many of the employees are actually really good people but overall, the experience has just hit rock bottom. Will take my business (hundreds of thousands of dollars per year) elsewhere.

Costco has friendly, kind, and helpful employees. From the greeters at the front doors who check your membership card to the employees helping in the self-checkout line to the regular cashiers and the stockers. I recently dropped my credit card, so I went to the lost and found, where a lovely young man checked, but the card was not there. But two women employees who overheard the conversation told me to check back later as the item would likely be found and returned. I called Costco an hour later, and lo and behold, my card was safe and sound in the lost and found, Thank you, RWC Costco employees, for all you do for shoppers.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Super busy, but expected. Have a good variety or products I have not seen at my nearby Costcos. Well stocked. I would definitely visit again if in the area!

Driving down 101 from Sac I hit a pothole near Airport Blvd and my tire popped instantly. Had to get my car towed all the way back to Redwood City. Next day I was calling around to see how much different spots would charge for a tire but I was put on hold pretty much everywhere I called including Costco. I was on hold for nearly an hour! Decided to just get a replacement at Costco thinking they might have a good deal, not knowing how much tires cost these days. Got there around 10:30 and a supervisor by the name of Jose helped me out. They didn't have the exact tire brand I needed but they carried something similar so I went with it. Tire cost around 200 and out the door 240 including rim installation and tax. Thinking it could get done quick we were wrong. He said it could take about an hr because they were busy. We asked him if we could pick it up when it's done because we had plans. He said alright, I'll call when it's done. It's now 5:30 and still no call. We drove back to Costco to only find out that they didn't even put the tire on my rim yet! Another guy helped us out because I'm guessing Jose already left for the day. He said to drive to the back, it'll take 5 mins. At this point I'm a little confused how they're managing different tasks back there. If it only takes 5 mins, shouldn't they have had this done hours ago? Did a little shopping, maybe around 30 mins just to give them some time. Rolled up to the back and my tire was still not done. I didn't want to talk to anyone anymore so my friend ended up asking about the tire another 10 mins later and finally I got my tire. Would have made an appointment if they would have just took my call in the first place.

This is a pretty generic but hidden Costco that is in the far reaches of Redwood City. After passing by this place on the C-train, I thought I drop by. Nothing too cool about this place except for the fact that it's like a "locals only" spot. I personally like it because I don't have to go to the Foster City location when coming in from Millbrae or if traffic backs me up when driving to the Mountain View location. What's even more crazy is no parking stress. Every time I get to the Sunnyvale and Almaden locations in Santa Clara county. This was not the issue here because there is plenty of parking on the weekdays. On the weekends, it's less stressful than my local Costco for reasons that would take me a long time to name. Okay you know what? I will name one. I have seen some items that are not present in any Costco from my county. Being the Costco Pizza Addict I am, it's pretty cool. Note: I will come here again but only if I have too. Other than that it's just me on the Caltrain seeing other people shop.
