Are you in the mood for a really good taco and are fine with eating on a Costco pull out table in between a meat counter and an aisle of flour? Then do I have the place for you!This is the 8th Mexican taco joint I've tried on this street and from a flavour standpoint it is my favorite! We had the pork, beef and chicken - all delicious.The bathroom is through the kitchen and you need to use the kitchen sink to clean your hands. It was weird but I was thankful I was allowed to use it. Joy of toddlers is they always need to go when you least expect it.You pick out your drink at the grocery section and pay for everything at the grocery store cash on your way out.

We stopped here after work on a Saturday on a strong recommendation from a coworker. I was told the tacos are incredible and made with fresh tortillas. They did not disappoint at all. The birria and barbacoa tacos were unbelievable. I should mention they're big, they're not street tacos. We did have a small amount of trouble getting our order right. We ordered 4 tacos but somehow received 3 plates each with 3 tacos. Not really an issue because nobody is going to turn down extra tacos, we just took the extras those to go. The ordering/payment process is really odd but it works.

Place is small it took more than 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered and it's good that is already made just need to put it on plates. The tortillas are really thick no love in making them. I would not come back. I had high expectations very highly talked about but unfortunately not for me. Maybe just off day but not for me.

I've been here before, but forgot why I didn't return. Service is slow, some staff are friendly, some are just rude. This is not the place to come out you're crunched for time. My quesadilla was cold, my champurado was perfect. Also a meat market in the back and lots of Latino product through out the store.
The best caldo de res I have ever had. Every time is as good as the last one. Very authentic place .I love their food. Don't think twice come and visit this place , you will thank me.

good food horrible service looks like employees worry too much on what customer do or dont do today i heard one of the women talking about me when i was leaving out the door about me taking some extra napkins

Wow El Paisano changed ownership...I just found out on the weekend. Great news, the food still the same, amazing home cooked meals. The new owners were friendly and looks like they are keeping everything the same so far! I wish them well, and as long as the food still delicious I will keep on coming!
