My sweetooth was in high gear today and brought me to this cute spot not too far from my apartment. A few purchases or brownies, cookies, and this cup of goodness later off into diabetes heaven haha. The parking is fantastic here, location is easy to find and there's outdoor seating for sunshine and sugar high times. The sweets were well made, fresh and priced reasonably compared to other's in the area. Service was very friendly and painless. This is a great spot for catching a break away from the city and feeding the sugar itch!

I was so excited to purchase some last minute goodies to make a "cake" out of cookies for a cookie lover who had a birthday celebration. Stopped by here because of the reviews and I shortly realized thereafter that I was 1) mislead and 2) should have looked at the age of the ratings and what was rated because I should not have thought to get cookies from there. 1) Customer Service Is Disappointing - Upon entering I was greeted with little warmth from an empty room that mirrored the lackluster customer service I was about to receive. As I waited to be greeted, I quickly surveyed the layout and found it comfy but suspicious that it barely had anything on the "shelves". When the lady that ran the place greeted me, she did not smile, spoke to me in short vague phrases, and kept looking at my jacket (probably to sum up where I worked ) as if she was racial profiling me. I get it Im Pacific Islander and not rocking the newest gear but I had a big sloppy grin on my face and made small talk even going as far to reassure you that I was taking pictures for Yelp and had nothing sinister under my sleeves! I cant get over how disappointed I am with the customer service. 2)I grabbed whatever packaged cookies I could get off the shelf to make an arrangement that would allow me to showcase a variety of flavors but to also hold the happy bday candles. I was super excited to bring my idea to life and excited to support a small business so I grabbed a bag of each kind of cookie. As I grabbed one bag of s'mores it she was almost scolding me not to grab it because she had one out back. I let it go because I didn't want her vibe to kill mines. I didn't bother to ask how the cookies were nor was I told how old the cookies were or given a heads up about flavors or anything. She just stood at the cash register and looked unimpressed and tired and so ready for me to leave. She didn't even help or pretend to be helpful. I didn't have time to react to all the negative vibes and got to purchasing my goodies. 3) When I had selected all my goodies she was kind enough to suggest she'd pack it for me but said it in a way that implied she was in a hurry to get me out. I went out of my way even after receiving such undeserved treatment to tell her everything looked great and cant wait to try and review her baked goods. Long story short, it served its purpose but we returned it right after. Every cookie and brownie tasted stale and old. The flavors fell super short of my high expectations based on the reviews. It so disappointed me more that even the cookie lover who received this gift said "no offense but where did you get these, they're horrendous". I wished there was a hole in the floor that I could sink into. I was so embarrassed with my gift and wanted to make sure that experience was written down here so that anyone stopping by this place reads this and finds it helpful. Needless to say, I returned the treats and she was not willing to budge and give me a refund so I told her Ill dispose the cookies which she said she'll dispose: i had tons of cookies in that box, I hope she didn't repackage them. Anyways I proceeded to dispute my payment on Amex but avoid the ordeal I went through if you are planning to make a big purchase because the customer service is horrendous here and matched only by the poor quality of their sold items.

This has become one of my spots that I detour to when I'm anywhere reasonable close by. I always gets the blackberry or raspberry scone because it has the flakiness I look for in a scone and the contrast with the juicy berry helps it rise above. And I also just enjoyed the blackberry pie pocket. It's like having a little slice of pie, but more crust and way more portable. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the area. Part of that comes from slightly smaller size, compared to a chain bakery, but that's actually a plus for me.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVA SWEETS BAKERY and Tal, the woman I worked with!! This is my second year using them and they have been so great to work with.Last year during the pandemic, I was going to miss my dads birthday and worked with Tal to get a cake that he would want and had it delivered. My parents said they LOVED the cake! So this year, we had to order it again. It was a last minute thought, but I was so thankful how accommodating and easy it was with Tal to get a cake delivered in time for his birthday!Finally trying it this year— THE Fruit TART is INCREDIBLE!!! Can’t imagine how good the other baked goods are in her shop.We will be ordering from Eva Sweets Bakery for all our cake needs!

They prepared a Basque Cake on short notice (about 24 hours), included a card with a personalized message on my behalf, delivered the cake with care and were very communicative throughout the whole process. The recipient loved the Basque Cake and the custard filling inside!

The grab and go sweets section didn't have as much as I hoped for. There were bagged cookies and breakfast foods like scones and bread. Getting in and out was very quick and convenient. The indoor seating looked cozy.The chocolate chip brownie was more airy and crumbly than dense and moistApple pie bar was heavy on cinnamon and shredded apple, not the gooey wet inside kindPecan mini pie looked like it had a mix of walnut and pecan. They also shipped the box quickly and added a card on my behalf. I couldn't ask for a better service. My friend absolutely LOVED everything in the box!! I ordered a cake from Eva Sweets for my wedding (venue: my living room, guests: on Zoom). Tal organized with the florist next door (Paradise Flowers) to incorporate flowers from my bouquet as a cake topper. Even better, she arranged pickup of the cake and flowers for me, so I had one less thing to worry about on The Big Day. Honestly, I was hesitant to get a cake for my low key wedding, but the minute my fiancé walked through the door with the cake the whole day felt a lot more special.

For every single special occasion we get Tal's amazing triple chocolate cake - it is sheer perfection. I also got a selection of different kinds cookies in packs of 6 as party favors for a baby shower, which the attendees loved. Truly, you can't go wrong here - this my favorite local bakery!!
