When I first moved to California, I sincerely thought Humphry Slocombe was a real estate agency (it's the font, I swear!). I'm very happy I have some friends here to show me that it, in fact, a fun shop for ice cream. I love the Secret Breakfast flavor and I get it all the time now, but it's definitely worth trying out the other flavors if there isn't a big line. I'd been wanting to check out Humphry Slocombe for a while and it was worth the wait! I love innovative ice cream flavors and this place had a good selection of these, as well as the classics. On a Thursday evening, the wait was pretty short. I tried a sample of the McEvoy Vinegar & Oil which wasn't bad, but I opted for the Vietnamese Coffee. Super unique flavors! I got the spiced pear which tasted like pie (also had some crumbles inside) and my husband got brown butter (so incredibly delicious). He never finishes his ice cream so I mixed both our flavors and wow! Genius combo
