The Cuban Torta is out of this world.

When we walked in, the restaurant was empty at 11:00 am. We sat ourselves. Our sever was great with us. The food is authentic and delicious. What I did not like was that a group of 4 walked in and sat them self down at a table for 6, and our server asked them to move to a table of 4. One of the gentlemen told them that they would like to stay at that table for room space. The server told them no that they either sat at the table of 4 or they could leave. The restaurant was empty. I did not see a need to have customers move. I felt that was wrong.

I usually visit Casita Chilanga in Hayward, the quality of the service is great, the food is delicious and in good portions, so I assumed that being the same chain it would be just as good, it was disappointing ?the service of the cashier (waitress) was terrible, the food was very bad, I ordered a huarache de suadero and apparently they gave me carnitas the size of a quesadilla ?attached photos of the Hayward house and this one so that they come to Hayward I will not return here to Redwood City, the first photo is from tonight in Redwood City the last ones 2 from Hayward, so it was an expectation, with a reality ?

It was my favorite place many years ago. I returned with my family today after 6 years the cakes still have that flavor that I like.

I don't usually write reviews but today I will. I went for some chilaquiles. I sat at a table and no one attended to me. I stopped to order them and the girl who was serving me started laughing while I was ordering. I don't know what he was laughing at, but I thought it was rude of him... I told him I wanted scrambled eggs in my order, and he gave me fried eggs but chopped into pieces… when I tried the food, the eggs were tasteless, as were the beans. The chilaquiles were spicy… and the sauce was not spicy…My experience was very bad in terms of service and food. I don't plan to return to this restaurant.
