Good Guinness.attentive service. One bar tender, no bar back, no cocktail waitress, averaged price beer. There is a of weird pig vibe. They tolerate local town drunks as long as they have cash also known as their house cocktail Captain Ronald. One must think about the California Franchise Tax Board. Overall a five star experience.. I recommend everyone should go.

It's a good old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice comfortable place to have a drink and make a friend. There is a large outside area where you can smoke and have a drink, which is hard to find. It's my go to place after a hard days work. The service is the best !!

Stopped by for a nightcap post dinner. The only real bar in the entire main drag, but little else. Gets livelier as the rest of the street shuts down by 9am. The draft beers we tried tasted fresh and flavorful. Nice seating inside and on the curb.

Fun place to have a drink and watch the game. Very local bar, looks like everyone knew the owner. But everyone very friendly to a stranger like me.

Love the saddle rooms. Old school place with cheap drinks and great bartenders. Will be back.

Classic old dive bar, one of the last on the Peninsula. Get ready to go back in time..

This is the most exquisite little dive bar I have been to I am from out of town and when I walked through the door I immediately felt like I was home. The patrons and bartender made me feel at home.Great people and great service. I will be back. If you want a small town feel this is your place.

I’ve lived in San Mateo County for almost two decades and have heard tales of the Saddle Room, but this is my first visit. It’s a tiny, hole-in-the-wall, old-school Redwood City dive bar. As the name implies, it’s a western theme, and I assume it has a lot to do with all of the horse ranches further out Woodside Rd. I don’t know how true it is, but I feel like the Saddle Room was one of the few businesses along this stretch of Woodside Road remaining from when this was the southwestern edge of town. There’s a back patio that we did not explore. The bar inside is tiny, old, and cluttered. You won’t like it if you’re claustrophobic, but you’ll love it if you want to feel like you just walked into an old-time wagon trail watering hole. While enjoying our heavy pours, we heard different music, from country to 80s synth-pop, to which the same folks sang. There are sports on the tiny old-school flatscreens which are sufficient given the room's scale.Good times and we will enjoy stopping in again sometime.

This is a terrific place for drinks and a night out with friends. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, with courteous bartenders and a good assortment of cocktails and beers. On weekends, live music is always a pleasant addition, and the outdoor terrace is a terrific place to relax and enjoy the California weather. The only drawback is that the pricing can be a little high, but the experience is well worth it.
