Super yummy flavors and very kind staff! I learned so much about gelato vs. ice cream from the staff and owner, super interesting stuff! The owner learned how to make gelato in Italy, and has come up with some really interesting and yummy flavors. They rotate, so come check often. Their sorbetos are super delicious as well, we love the Fruit Cocktail and Passionfruit Guava. As for the gelato the Amarena Cherry is one of my faves so far, and my older son loves the tiramisu, my younger son, the cookies and cream. You can also buy pints and seasonal desserts! They are doing Yule log gelato cakes for the winter. We will definitely be back soon!

We hired SF Gelateria to cater the dessert for our wedding. Shiao-Ying and her staff were amazing from day 1. We live in Redwood City and stumbled on them while walking downtown. We reached out to set up a tasting and Shiao-Ying asked us to look at the flavors on the website and let her know which ones we wanted to try. We arrived at the shop to find that she had had fresh batches of our requested flavors made specifically for our tasting! She was so sweet and incredibly accommodating. We left knowing we were booking them, we just had to decide on how many flavors! We ended up booking the La Dolce Vita Cart for 160 servings, with the toppings bar and 2 extra flavors for a total of 8 flavors. We selected 4 dairy and 4 non-dairy flavors and they were a huge hit! People were raving about the gelato the entire night! SF Gelateria was one of the most stress-free vendors we worked with and would highly recommend their catering services for any event!

There's always room for ice cream for some folks even after dinner!!! We finished Indian food & the guys wanted gelato so we walked a few doors down & got some scoops in this quaint shop. Got Piatachio, Chocolate & Hazelnut. I really wanted to try the Passionfruit Sorbetto but I'd have insomnia & give or take a pound or two of weight after so I saved it for another day! Guys liked it & was a nice ending for the bday celebrant & friends in the 70°+ cooler weather!!

SF Gelateria catered my baby shower on a hot hot day (95 degrees!) and the gelato was a huge hit. Shiao-Ying, the owner, was so easy to coordinate with and thankfully so flexible when I asked to push the start time back to beat the heat. It was a hectic day and I really appreciated how the gelato cart and girl (sorry I didn't catch her name!) showed up on time, set up, and immediately started scooping. She was so patient and so friendly despite being kept super busy, in the heat, for two hours. Hojicha flavor was the star but really, you can't go wrong with any of their flavors. Highly recommend booking their gelato cart for any event, everyone from kids to adults to elderly loved it!

I would trade my three wishes with a genie just for a scoop of their pistachio gelato.My wife and I have laid destructive despair upon a pint of it at home with no self-control or restriction. Like a nature documentary scene narrated by David Attenborough where hyenas destroy their prey, but its my wife and I huddled around a pint of SF Gelateria Pistachio like twin Gollums from lord of the rings.The disappointment felt from settling for the competition they have, which if we're being honest is safeway late at night, is truly at the depths of despair and brings nothing but sadness and longing for our true love... SF Gelateria.
