Small little shop next to lots of other eateries and shops. The chicken wings here are huge! So big that it can last many many meals. It tasted pretty good. Fresh and warm. Will return for sure! I thought this was a chain, but it's just one store. I think it's fairly popular though.

Can always count on Vons Chicken to satisfy my fried chicken craving. Even the delivery order stays nice and crunchy. I usually like to order the sauce on the side for take out to prevent moisture migration during delivery.

We used to enjoy ordering from Vons and my son loved their food. But we had an incident tonite which made us realize that Vons does not really care about their customers and does not take accountability when they make a mistake. I ordered a delivery from Vons on Grub Hub, then added an item to my order a few min later. The app recreated my original order as a second order with the added item, so now the app mistakenly charges me for both orders to Vons. I see both orders in the app and call Vons to fix it, and the Vons service person assures me there is only one order and reads my order back to me. So at this point Vons should be aware of the issue , but instead they go ahead and process the 2nd duplicate order and when I call them again later when I see in the app it's on its way they tell me there is nothing they can do about it and they didn't notice the second order was a mistake because they were too busy. They tell me to call Grub Hub and I do, but Grub Hub tells me they have to ask the restaurant to refund it and they call Vons who refuses to refund. See what's going on here, the two companies are just pointing fingers at each other and no one helps. I believe Vons could have refunded me but chose not to, they ultimately are the ones who get paid the larger share of the order. I hate when companies screw over the customer. The food is not worth this aggravation and terrible attitude, beware. (For the cost of refunding a $40 order Vons could have kept us as a regular customer for life, but they chose not too, smart right? )

Vons has the best sweet potato fries and onion rings on the Peninsula! They are extremely consistent - I usually get takeout and they wrap the items with care so they stay hot and crispy. The chicken (you can choose wings or drumsticks) is Korean style - I usually get the crunchy chicken half order which is plenty for two meals - so it is super crispy, not at all oily, and lightly salty. Compared to American southern fried chicken, it’s less dense overall, and the batter is lighter with a thinner coating. It comes with ranch, which is amazing on the sweet potato fries, and the onion rings are perfectly crisp, sweet and salty (not at all heavy).Orders take about thirty minutes because they are made to order.

I've heard such good things about Vons Chicken, so this place has been on my list of places to try.As much as I want to love this place, I have to be honest. The cashier was very friendly and helpful, which made the service 5 stars. The atmosphere here is quaint and comfortable. They even have an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your meal. Depending on weather conditions, this could be quite enjoyable.Food. I must say that fried chicken is my all-time favorite food ?After perusing the menu earlier in the day, I decided to ha e the crispy fried chicken. Be advised that this takes approximately 30 minutes to cook, per order.Orders are available in half and full size, and you can choose from drumsticks, thighs, combo (drums & thighs), or wings (drumettes and flats).I went with the full order of wings. I added on a mini salad, fries, extra ranch, and honey butter.Total: $54+Salad: nice and freshFries: crispy and tastyChicken: hot and crispy, but super bland. It was truly a disappointment. A touch of salt after frying would go a long way.Honey butter: is in a powder. Way too sweet for my liking.Ranch: Really tasty. Please note that there are other chicken options that come with added sauces drizzled on top.As a fried chicken enthusiast, I opted for the regular crispy fried chicken so I could taste the unadulterated version.I will say that chicken was cooked nicely, but it was just lacking so much flavor. Especially for the price. As mentioned, a touch of salt after frying would work wonders. Brining the chicken overnight would put it over the top.Well, that's my take on Vons Chicken.Oh, if you're eating by yourself, a half order is more than enough.~Chefmattketoish@Friday_night_bites_209

I visited the restaurant on the evening of Sunday, December 17 at 8:00 pm. Prior to my arrival, I had called to inquire about their menu. Upon arriving and placing an order for my whole family, including a sick child, I noticed that the cashier, Danielle, displayed unfriendly facial expressions while I was speaking Spanish and deciding on our order. Despite this, we completed our order 30 minutes before the restaurant's closing time. However, despite there being open seating inside, we were asked to dine outside in a 54-degree weather and wet tables and chairs. After offering to clean the table ourselves, we were allowed to dine inside. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I believe that if the restaurant does not allow indoor dining during open hours, they should inform customers before they place their orders. They gave our food in to go boxes! The owner should pay more to their employees and stop hiring teenagers. I spent over $100 in this place and I think that my family deserves more respect specially that I addressed them respectfully.

Gotta have that honeybutter every so often... place is small with outdoor seating and the options are limited but they do solid chicken. No breasts or thighs though.

Our first time trying Korean Fried Chicken. We got a half order of the Crispy chicken combo (great), Mandoo potstickers (good), and Kimchi fried rice (meh). Generous portions for 2 people.

Sat outside in the shade on a perfect summer day and enjoyed the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken was super juicy, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The fried batter was exceptionally seasoned and perfectly crispy. Can’t imagine a better pairing than with some cold beers (which they have!).
