We stop off at this deli on our Sunday cruise day,I was just there today1/28/24 and there is a note on door there closed on Sundays now.is this permanent or temp? I drive from Daly city to this deli.great food and service..

I loved the Original Woodside Deli & the God Father Sandwich even went back after a former employee turned to owner a few years back. It's great that Colombo's from Pacifica reopened a staple in Redwood City but trying the it 1st time the owner I think served me wasn't very friendly & touched the meat with his bear hand? I wanted to try their version of the God Father unfortunately pretty basic the employee didn't freshly slice the meat it was sitting in the fridge & slapped on to the sandwich. I'm done ✅ never again will not waste $$$ here.

I came here for lunch when I was in the neighborhood and ordered the Godfather sandwich. The sandwich was absolutely amazing with great flavors and exceptional meat/cheese quality. It was also huge, I could only finish half and had the second half for lunch the next day. They have some Italian groceries as well, but I didn't pick any up on my visit. My only complaint is it took quite a while to be acknowledged when I was waiting at the counter, there wasn't many people in the store (employees behind counter outnumbered customers 2 to 1) and a "hello we'll be with your shortly" would have been nice.

Nice place, excellent sandwiches but service is sooooo slow. Maybe they want you to look around and purchase more items. Otherwise a positive slightly expensive treat.Kid-friendliness: They allow children inside with no ID verification, so I guess they like kids.

Fast delivery and my sandwich is delicious. My son had always told me about this deli and surprise I ordered a sandwich for delivery lol. Service was quick to deliver.

Colomobo's is a great deli!! The sandwiches, always taste good, and they have excellent customer service there!! I had a DoorDash driver that stunk of smoke deliver me their delicious sandwiches and I went back to the deli. They made me up a brand new sandwich and didn't even charge me.!!! I highly recommend this deli for excellent sandwiches and catering!!!

I do not typically post negative reviews, and it saddens me to post this after having been a customer of this deli for almost my entire life. I thought the sandwiches took a bit of a hit when ownership changed a few years ago, but no matter, I continued to go. Yesterday, I went in to pick up an order for two sandwiches my wife had made by phone. The order was lost. That's fine, it happens. I ordered the two sandwiches once more. The gentleman who helped me, taller and older than the rest of the employees, took my order and returned with one sandwich. I said that there were two sandwiches in the order, not one, and he turned his back on me, dramatically flung the sandwich in the garbage, and walked away. Even if I was dead wrong in every respect here, which I was not, this is exactly how you lose a nearly 40-year customer that formerly had a lot of nostalgia for this deli.

So hard to find a good Italian deli anymore. I was so happy to stumble across deli. They have real Italian meats not that Boars head crap. I ordered a prosciutto di Parma toasted sourdough sammi with sliced tomatoes, olive oil, fresh mozzarella, and roasted red peppers. Oh Momma Mia was it Delicioso!! "See pictures" the interior is nicely set up with The deli section on the left and dry goods and drinks on the right further back they have a refrigerator with different cheeses in them. Oh yah I also ordered cherry soda, also Delicioso and 1/4 lb. Thinly sliced prosciutto di Parma to go. The service is excellent, great bunch of people behind the counter and the amount of product they put I. The Sammi's is amazing. What more can I say but Great food, great people and great products.
