Food was a bit heavy, but that's what you should expect from Mexican food.

My wife caught wind of this spot from a SFV local, said this was where his family ate often when he was a kid growing up in Reseda. He said it was the best Mexican food in the Valley. Aye, he was right. The food is clean, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair. I mean for most of the menu options you're basically getting two meals. You enter through the door on the east side where there's a line leading up to a cashier area. The menu will be all over the wall to the right of the cashier. The ordering was pleasant, although I had asked for a tostada con machaca (shredded beef) which was on their menu. However she put "con carnitas" in the system, when I told her I wanted shredded beef not shredded pork, she looked at me blankly and said they didn't have that. I relented because I was hungry and had 4 guests with me, so I asked for carne asada instead. The burritos are massive. Grandma got 2 carne asada tacos; she ended up splitting the double tortilla shells and making 4 perfect tacos. That's how much meat they have! Our boy got the chicken soup, which was delicious! When I'm in need of comfort, I'll come back for this. My tostada was delicious, I ate the whole thing! My wife only ate half of hers though. There's a healthy portion of meat in there and the sour cream/guac toppers were heavy handed! The sodas you do yourself - they have two fountain machines. There's a salsa bar that I wish was bigger, the traffic is always heavy around it. The dining atmosphere is like being at your abuela's house - we had the kids snag a table and give us some time to order. The place can be super busy, but the vibe makes you feel comfortable in the chaos. All love for this place, I'll be back soon!

Great Mexican food very polite. Staff owner is a really nice gentleman. Love moly sauce on the enchiladas you don't see that around very often. It's very very good.

I just went to this restaurant this morning and to begin with the food was great, but the service was terrible. We waited for our drinks so long that I had to ask for them and the waitress just gave me the tray with my drinks to take them myself to my table. And when our food arrived we were missing part of our order. This is the only reason I would not come back here.

Been coming here since I was a kid. LOVE their food. Tacos are delicious, mulitas and plates too. My dad always brings his family and out of town guests here. The service is exceptional with a smile and the family setting atmosphere makes this a pleasant place to dine.

Can't say anything bad about this place. It's our go to restaurant when we have a hankering for good Mexican food. Kids love the Platos especially the fish and meats. The wet burritos and our favorite soup is the menudo. Always consistent and the service is great.

Love this place and have been eating dinner there since it first opened for business and not just a taco truck in the mid 80's

We have only gotten takeout from here and the food is always good and prices are reasonable. I cannot speak to service or in dining but food is great!

Delicious and authentic. I loved everything I ordered-Chili Relleno and taco. The salsa is hot and the best addition to my meal. We also ordered chips and guacamole which was outstanding!

Not worth the money. How do you not have. A chilaquiles plate and only a "side" of chilaquiles. I had to pay extra for EVERYTHING. Taste wasn't that great either. I make better ones at home smh

Love this place. Even though I no longer near Las Fuentes I always go there when I'm in the area. I usually get the beef Flautas. They are the best!!!
