Sadly, it was not a real restaurant. It has a Rialto address but it's a residence. I called and the restaurant is in West Covina. The pics of this place look great but it's a deceitful advertisement practice.

Pricy for it being a back yard $60 for a ceviche plate way too much $$$$. That’s pricing like a 5 star restaurant. Food was not bad but not great. I don’t recommend

Love love love HijozDeSuMadre Mariscos. I normally order the Shrimp cocktail-no spice cause I'm a s***** for spice, so delicious! I also order the Shrimp Ceviche Tropical, sooo goooood. They carry the most tasty Michelada Mix, goes well with any Mexican beer. Great customer service and never fails to hook it up with tostadas and secret sauces to go. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Met Rudy the owner and his family who run the business. Was met with great customer service and a friendly smile. The seafood was quite amazing and the flavor delicious. The food was fresh and kept properly. Highly recommend it. He also supports the community like in the picture.

This place is a hidden gem!! But forsure an up and come-r l This is my second time here and man oh man.. So far we've tried the Cóctel de camarón, Tostada tropical, oysters! Preparando, agua chiles )(both) and of course the micheladas mmm mango one is my fav! Everything was fresh and delicious!! You have to try it! As for the service .. let's just say you'll feel like your at a cousins house having a good old time! Seriously swing by and check it out.

We tried this for the 1st time and it was amazing! We had the tropical ceviche and a cocktail for my hubby. We also bought the paste for the rim of our micheladas.....oh it's awesome. I recommend you to try it.

If you’ve never tried Hijoz De Su Madre I highly suggest you do. Everything I’ve had from HDSM has been really good. The ceviche and aguachiles is probably my favorite.

This place was so nice I was a little confused at first from arrival but we were seated and helped right away. The ceviche was flavorful and a little different from most but still delicious. There was also a super cute pug and they had a very welcoming vibe and nice set up. The ceviche is made fresh btw

We got the 50/50 ceviche tropical mix. It looked amazing and was the best ceviche I've ever had hands down! Also the MichMix is so bomb!! The owner was super cool and it is clear that he takes pride in his dishes. Delicious!

We were on our way home when we decided to stop by to eat some seafood. Saw the reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. The food is so DAMN good. The taste is unbelievable. The service was great. We're able to have a small talk with the owner and he is so nice and relatable. We truly enjoyed our time with the music, drinks and good food. We'll be coming back. Thank you
