The best ever!! My son & I heard about this little place a few years ago & decided to try it. The most delicious AUTHENTIC food I’ve ever had in the Bay Area.

One order of tacos dorados and 2 carnitas 1 Fresca 45 wow was a bit too crazy price, and the food is not really good I'm sorry but but I think I can get something better for less money

This was my first visit and so happy I stopped by. The carnitas are flavorful and juicy. The red salsa is spicy and the final touch is the delicious handmade corn tortilla. And a special thank you to Edwin and the family. The were super nice and welcoming. I look forward to returning and trying something new on the menu.

Definitely a hole-in-the-wall and one worth looking for. Very tasty carnitas in an excellent homemade blue corn tortilla. Not the greatest seating or restroom facilities but, well, it is a small front yard under a tent. Get over it and just enjoy the food!

Went here after reading the review in the SF Chronicle food section --and are we glad we did! The food was amazing, and the people & service were wonderful. It is setup literally in front of someone's home in Richmond and so seating & parking can be a challenge, but if you're looking for delicious and authentic comida Puebla then do not let that deter you!

Best carnitas I've ever had. It's clear the owners know what they are doing and are very, very focused on the details. My taco (in a home made blue corn tortilla that was freshly made) had a fine tuned, perfect balance of flavors. Will make a point to go back to this place.

Always amazing! This place....I’ve been to about a dozen times, but this was the first time since this Covid-19 business. I walked up to the front door which faces the street, and ordered at the new ordering window, my mask donned. La Bamba remains delicious, Covid be damned. The Pupusas Revuelta was tender, juicy, handmade....perfect. Never gets old. The pickled cabbage, pickled to perfection. The salsa....a nice kick but not overbearing, not gonna overpower the pupusa, and provides a nice little bit of heat. I doubt I’ll ever get tired of this place.
