The best wrap I’ve had in the entire East Bay. The people here are genuine with the food even more authentic. I made it a point to u-turn and stop by last night. The team behind the counter really just mean business. No frills, just order your food and take in the normal buzzy gas station energy. Came home and devoured my meal wishing I had more of the garlic yogurt sauce because there really is nothing like it!

Great place right off hwy 80 to grab some food to go (no indoor seating. ) I got the stir fry chicken akdah (similar to karahi chicken) with bell peppers and onions. Be sure to ask for the green chutney. I thought it was lacking in flavor. I added some Indian pickle to liven it up when i got home. It came with 3 large pitas. I'll be back to try the beef Sharma plate.

Amazing flavors and portions are very large. Two people can share a plate and feel satisfied. Chicken mendi was amazing! The wait was long but the nice staff offered very tasty tea while I waited. Make sure to get extra white sauce.

Ok, hands down the best gas station food I've ever had, and my first time eating Yemeni food! I'm a believer. Be advised, there is no place to sit, so be prepared to take it to go!What we ate:- Chicken Mendi - super tender and flavorful chicken - came with a ton of rice and a side salad- Chicken Zurbian - huge portion! first time having this, but reminded me of a biryani. lots of chicken.- Beef Shawarma - yummy, again with a big portion of rice and side salad- Falafel - 6 falafel on top of cucumber/tomato salad. good, but needed a little bit of salt imo.Overall everything was really flavorful and they gave us LOTS of food. It came with bread and a salsa-type sauce on the side. Highly recommend this place!

1/27/2024 This place is in my neighborhood, and I've wanted to check it out. I sent the husband to get lunch while I minded our little one. I had the beef shwarma plate, which exceeded my expectations: flavorful rice, well-seasoned beef, and a nice salad with an excellent light olive oil. My little one enjoyed sharing the hummus, beef, and rice and asked for more. I can't wait to try the falafel wrap and other Yemni dishes. Don't sleep in this place.2/1/2024 I couldn't wait to try this place out again. Omg, I just had a falafel wrap for lunch. So good, and bonus, they had a few french fries in the wrap. The falafel was the right balance of herbs and chickpeas; it was just right, not too soft or a rock. The garlic yogurt is an excellent addition to the wrap.

Ok I liked my food..the men was just ok with it..they give you plenty of rice, like a lot...my shawarma chicken plenty....chicken kabob enough..but the lamb kabob, not so much..the men said their rice was dry, the lamb over cooked..my chicken was dry but with the sauces, pretty tasty..I also liked the rice, not dry (the hubby said mine was new rice n his n our son's was from an older batch he saw them putting in with their food orders)..there was a yogurt garlic, I think, sauce I would eat over n over again..that was super tasty..I liked their pita, not sure if it was made in house...the person who waited on me was very nice, offered me hot tea and that was delicious! The staff is very nice.I am willing to try other dishes and see how they are, compared to the dishes we ordered tonight...Parking: This place is associated with a gas station.
