Masa Is a great local taqueria/tamaleria. They have the best fish tacos around, bar none. Baja style beer battered fish on a tostada! YES PLEASE. Ceviche options are generous and fresh. My mom drives from Marin to get tamales here. There is a generous selection of alcoholic beverages along with lots of non-alcoholic options including multiple aguas frescas that change daily. There are Mexican snacks for sale as well as a nice selection of grab and go dessets. I honestly have never had a bad meal here. I would LOVE a Chile relleno burrito on the menu- hint, hint! You can also order fresh, hot tortillas which I often grab when I've made a meal at home they will complement. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available.

Layout of access from parking lot to door is excellent in dry weather, but puddles block ramp and stairs when it's wet.. Food is wonderful. Bar is wonderful. Staff is helpful and nice, but sometimes unsure about what's still available. Happy, noisy environment is fun, but can make it hard for customers and staff who speak different languages to understand each other.Wheelchair accessibility: Good ramp for chairs, if not blocked by delivery service cars parking in front of it to pick up orders.

They have such a great variety of food. They have a chili Riano burrito. You could have it three different ways. It’s just a great place. They have baby burritos for lunch. Great deal.

Bomb mexican food! I like how this place in a more secluded area of richmond (yes it's nestled in the old historic part of richmond near the shipyard). I like coming here after a stressful day of work to eat, have a drink, and then take a walk at the marina nearby. The interior is very spacious, clean, and has lots of seating. The food is amazing and i always order the quesabirria tacos. The crispiness on the taco shells are perfect! I've had tacos from all over CA and even lived in Long Beach a little bit and can definitely say this place compares! I like how the birria isn't so oily that it makes the shell soggy, it's cooked just right. Drinks.....lemme say, they will take care of you and hook it up with a big cocktail! Love how there's a separate bar area just for drinks. Return factor 10/10

Decent food. Nice servers. Birria ramen/ tacos was definitely something to try once, but after a few times it got old. Good restaurant to visit after swimming in the bay.

My friends and I decided to check out Point Richmond area and then have lunch at Masa since we heard they had delicious homemade tamales. They have a parking lot for about 10 cars but there was street parking too. Arriving at 11:30, the restaurant tables were about half occupied. Their menu consists of tamales and tacos, burritos, quesabirria, tostadas, tortas, quesadillas, bowls and flautas. You order at the counter and find a table to sit. When your number is called, you pick up at the pickup area of the counter. They had four agua frescas, melon, pineapple, Jamaica and horchata. I got a pineapple and it was not too sweet and was very good. There's a station where you can get cups of water. In about 10 minutes, my number was called and went to get my food. They asked if I wanted mild or hot salsa and they put two containers on my tray. I got three tamales, Beef in red sauce tamale, Chicken in mole sauce tamale and a Pineapple tamale. For the two savory tamales, they were both delicious. The beef in red sauce was more flavorful than the chicken one, which I wish had more mole. Never had a sweet tamale, but the pineapple one was a nice finish with its sweet, but not overly sweet pineapple paste filling. I liked the ambiance and the counter staff was friendly. A nice gem in Pt Richmond and I'll be back to try other tamales and the quesabirria, which looks delish too.

Vegetarian options: Got loaded fries with no meat and no Pico de Gallo, I asked for guacamole and the girl said I would need to pay extra even though there was nothing really on my fries also the fries weren't cooked all the way, I didn't even eat half of them, would not recommend this place.

It feels like an Italian place but all it is, is a place that serves street tacos. The pork, none spicy, tacos were ok, the others were dry.

Needed a place to meet a friend that was 1/2 way between us, we settled on Masa. This was my first time here. The restaurant is bright and open, it is one where you order at the counter and pick up your food. I ordered the ceviche (combo of fish and shrimp) and the esquite. The ceviche came with chips. My friend had a burrito and chips and guac. My ceviche was fresh and had good balance with a nice kick of spice. The esquite was creamy with lots of cheese, so good! My friend enjoyed his burrito as well, but no picture. When you get a burrito, you get to pick your topping (a bit like Chipotle). Grabbed some Tamales to take home for a friend, no word yet on her opinion. The place was clean and everyone was very friendly. They have lots of munchies you can pick up as well. There is a small parking lot and street parking available.
