The service is great, they are fast and friendly and I think family owned business, they work hard and you are full when you walk out the door with leftovers lol. the food has a lot of flavor and the seating is nice not too close to each other if they are not in your party. We love the food there and that's where we go when my husband and I want Thai food. Peanut sauce is BOMB!!!!

The drunken noodles with chicken was delightful and the owner made sure our meal was just as we wanted. Very friendly staff and restaurant, parking is challenging but the food is worth it!

Sala Thai is our all-time favorite. A friend of mine who now lives Rome, wanted to eat here. FOOD We ordered crispy shrimp roll as an appetizer. I ordered the crab fried rice. And he ordered the Tom Ka soup. SERVICE Their servers are always polite and accommodating. The owner, Dave always greets us whenever we come in. AMBIENCE The restaurant has a Thai art around. Wall paint is relaxing. As I've done here years ago, come to think of it, I had my husband's birthday dinner here, years ago. I will come back again and again, and will highly recommend Sala Thai!

Me and my friend stopped here by accident! We were about to get some tacos but then i saw there was a Thai food and i forced my friend yo get Thai, best decision ever made. They have a really good food and customer service. The gentleman was very nice to us and food came out fast which we love it! We had Appetizers Combo and Spicy Basil and Curry bowl, all great, and of course Thai Tea as well. If I happen to be in Richmond again, i would make my way there to have that food again.

I was searching on Yelp for a new thai spot. My favorite dish is pineapple fried rice with duck. The fried is excellent, and the service was great from Nadin. The fried rice had plenty of duck and cashews plus pineapple and enough to share. I can't wait to return and probably dine in since the business is casual and looks inviting.

This place never disappoints! I’ve had their vegetarian Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Tofu rolls. No matter how many times I order here, the food always hits the spot. It’s super easy to get to. The guy who always rings me up in the front is absolutely wonderful and very personable. If you’re looking for really good Thai food with amazing vegetarian/vegan options, this is the place! Can’t wait to come back next time ?
