This review is only for the papa loca with Al pastor. The papa loca with Al pastor is the only thing you should be getting here. The Al pastor is also the only meat they kind of season. Everything else here is bland and needs a ton of salsa to taste good. The service is fine. You order at the truck. Take your ticket to a cook and wait. Good luck finding parking after 6pm.

I actually enjoyed the tacos and quesadillas con tortilla hecha a mano. The sauces are on point and they stuff meat and guac no extra charge! It's nice to find a place that allows you to grab the chiles, carrots, cauliflower, and chiles on the side. Definitely will come again!

Flavorless. The horchate is good. 21st Street taco truck, La Flor de Jalisco, is way better and down the street. Also open late

Let me start by saying... don't believe the hype. I've noticed that videos online have been circulating gassing this place up on the burritos and tacos, but unless you like your meat bland and underwhelming, this ain't it. Bought 9 tacos of different types (regular, vampiros, quesabirria) and all of them missed. Now the food here isn't nasty, it's just sad. Threw a lot of salsa on the tacos and they still weren't doing what they had to do - the only things that saved them were the pineapples and some Tapatio sauce I had at home. While the service was decent and the space large and open (in a lot), the quality didn't match the prices (AKA overpriced and underseasoned). If you see the influencers on IG hyping this up, sorry but they lyin'.

Off the top, there's little to no parking around there since you can't park across the street. Next, the ordering process is a bit confusing as they don't have a set system in place. You order at the truck, they hand you a number and tell you to give it to one of the guys cooking. The guy cooking didn't want to take our number right away. The meat looked cold and like they kept reheating it. We ordered a torta cubana to share since we seen how big it is. It comes with chorizo, hot dog, ham and Milanesa. All that meat and it still had no flavor. The hot dog had a weird flavor and the milanesa tasted stale and old. I tried to drown it in salsa but even that wasn't helping. The green avocado salsa was the best that we tried. I also ordered the quesabirria tacos, you have to get the order of 3. They looked good but the whole thing was bland. They had a group playing corridos which was fine but it was so loud you couldn't hear when they called out your order and then the guys would get mad if you didn't go up right away.

Food really good the service isn't the best but still good because some workers don't speak English but the customers I interacted with are friendly and shared their food opinions and also recommendations

I really wanted to like this place Got quite a few things none of it we cared for. The only thing that was good was the horchata. The biggest let down was the steak fries. Omg they really gave me fries that weren't cooked. Look at the pic I took. Absolutely no color to the fries. You can tell by looking at the pic that they didn't cook them enough. Limp raw fries ... No I won't be coming back Also after ordering the whole process to get your food is too confusing.

Today was my first time stopping by... found parking right away. (Probably because I got there 15 min after they're opened). I got out of my car and I could already smell the meats cooking on the bbq. I walked into the lot and saw their nice set up (bbq, griddles, Al pastor & someone making fresh corn tortillas). You want to first place your order with with the food truck on the right, look for the big menu sign. Youll pay there & you'll get a receipt back, you'll take it to the griddle station to get your tacos (I had to go to the truck to pick up the burrito - they'll call out the order when it's ready). They have a variety of agua frescas (I got strawberry) it was delicious and refreshing. I ordered an al pastor burrito & taco to go. There's a self serve station with 3 types of salsa, sliced cucumbers, radish and limes (ask the person in the truck for salsa containers). Foil & plastic bags are there for use as well. My tacos were yummy, lots of meat and toppings. Loved the pieces of pineapple. Haven't tried the burrito yet. I experienced great customer service and they were friendly. Will be back!

I like their frescas. You can see all the food being made, lots of seating , outdoor vibes, and music playing outside. It's a nice setup. I ordered the carne asada tacos, and they were ok. I thought the $18 torta was a little pricey. Tacos are good. I would definitely come back..

Customer Service matters!!! These trucks are parked at a new location off 23rd St. I stopped by on my way home, the gentlemen taking the orders wasn't friendly at all. I placed my order and then when they were prepping my order they called out the wrong number of tacos. I then said, "oh, I order 3 & 3," the same guy that took the order and who was in the middle of helping another customer said, "no you didn't! You order 2 & 3." It wasn't what he said but the way he said it and how intentional he was to make sure everyone heard. He could have said it differently. the rest of the employees looked at me a little embarrassed. The food had no flavor, nothing. They are big tacos with a lot of meat but not good at all. The tortillas felt dry and stale. I think they have a lot of potential, specially in the location they are in and their setup. But they must polish their customer service and recipes.
