“One of the BEST restaurants for French cuisine ❤️“

“Stopped at this restaurant on the way to Bishop and was pleasantly surprised. The food was authentic Mexican and tasted just like home in San Diego.My wife had a beef taco and tamale and for a 5 foot two woman she ate it all :-)I had a beef taco and Tostado with rice and beans, tasted great and filled me up.We had chips, salsa and guacamole. The chips and guac were amazing. The salsa wasn’t really that hot for me, but then again could be for someone else .There’s plenty of parking off the main street. I took a picture of the front door because it’s around the front and it’s a little hard to find if you don’t know what to look. They have a full bar and two rooms for drinking and dining. They have a new patio, but are not allowed to serve alcoholic beverages outside as of yet, although they have applied.Highly recommend this if you need Mexican food, fix food and service with a smileForgot to add we had two mango margaritas and as you can see from the pictures they were massive. :-)“

“The Cali Burrito with carne asada is fire. The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. Their sauces and salsas are made from scratch and you can tell the difference. The staff was incredibly friendly and personable. Even the prices of stuff was super reasonable considering the portion size coupled with inflationi. It would have have cost me more money to order two #1s at McDonalds vs the fresh meals that we enjoyed this afternoon. And there was more food and isn’t fake. Highly recommend.“

“The food here was really good. I had the Beef Ma LA Szechuan and it was amazing. The place was packed when I was there, which is a testament to their food quality. I'm not in Ridgecrest often, but when I am, I'll definitely come back here.“

“The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived. We ended up right next to a larger, talkative, gesturing party. Too bad I was so close to them I could easily touch them! The restaurant seemed short staffed to me and it took a while for us to order and our food to arrive. But, the food was good and we did enjoy ourselves. ?“

“The line is sometimes a bit long, but they're always fast and polite. They've never made me feel bad about my weird orders and they're always so speedy while being nice. The food is always so good, definitely fits that craving every time especially after a long day.“

“This is only my 2nd time ever coming here in the 20+ years I’ve lived here my first time was literally just last month, at first I refused to come here because of all the negative backlash they received in previous years but I finally decided to give it a shot! The inside is beautiful, modern, and clean!!! The customer service was amazing! I ordered a pretty big to go order for my family they let me know it was going to be about 25 minutes so I told them I would wait in my car, a few minutes later the guy came out with a Thai tea for me for free while I was waiting! I thought that was so nice! Then I was just about to go inside to check on my order and the guy again was already walking outside to my car with my order! Definitely went above and beyond. The customer service is outstanding they just really showed that they care about their customers.“

“The food quality is why I keep going back. The restaurant is small, and not as it used to be. The service and wait times are hit or miss. But the orange chicken and Mongolian beef are phenomenal, so it makes up for shortcomings in other areas.“

“To be quite honest I've known these people for many many years. This is a family run dude with Mr Bernardino the start of it. And his daughters that were quite hard to take care of this restaurant the food and the atmosphere it's one of a kind. And the love from this family is felt in their food and their service. I might be a bit biased but I feel quite strongly about this family and I think they're great. And Mr Bernardino still runs the kitchen. The food from start to finish has always been great“

“Great salad bar, local Indian Wells Valley brewed beer, and a coffee shop attached to the main restaurant, and right at the central intersection entering town, across from the Naval Base. Has pictures reflecting local history. This should be a first stop if you're visiting, and second stop would be Maturango Museum (ask at the museum what there is to explore in the area).“
