“Whenever dropping in, there's a friend already there, and new ones to meet, including Andrea the owner! Whether you're staying to eat, drink, meeting for a special occasion party or tasting their catered treats, the food is as yummy as it's presented. As a bonus, Andrea opens up her walls as a gallery for local artists! Grateful that Ben's Friends is in town!“

“Food is excellent, delicious with large portions. The service is great, takeout only. The staff is friendly and inviting. As stated this takeout only however, there's tables and chairs if you have to wait and the premises are clean and well kept. A menu is prepared each week with 1 entree item with sides and dessert. Sam's catering is a God send to the small quaint town of Rio Vista“

Beer Flight

“Hidden gem with an opium den. Huff said... But really, this place is one of a kind in all the right ways. Tucked away in what feels like an old Chinese camp ghost town lives a beer bar with an opium den, a constantly rotating tap list, addictive popcorn, and an owner just as fun as the vibe this place has. Other beer bars need to come here and take note. This is how you do it. This place might MIGHT just put Isleton on the map as a must see beer destination. Dog friendly to boot!“

“We tried to go to another restaurant in downtown Antioch but they had a 45 minute wait for a party of 2 (my husband and I) so we headed to Smith's Landing on a whim, and I am SO happy that we did. Our server, Audrey, was absolutely the perfect amount of helpful, sweet and attentive without hovering or coming by too often. We enjoyed the bread that came with 3 types of butter, shared the Crab Tower, my husband had the Shrimp Stroganoff and I had the Chicken Saltimbocca and everything was divine. I enjoyed a drink (Summers Day? Something along those lines) and my husband got a Mule, and both were really good. The icing on the cake was when Audrey heard I was celebrating an upcoming birthday, she brought out this gigantic Sunday, complete with chocolate dipped cone, m&ms, whipped cream and a lit candle. Truly blown away by the hospitality and the food. We will absolutely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp leading up to the restaurant and the floors can easily be navigated using a wheelchair if needed!“

“Excellent!! Service! I didn’t catch my server’s name (homie). Food came out fast and it was delicious. My Bloody Mary was bomb. Best Country Fried Steak hands down. Drove an hour and half out here but well worth it. Will definitely be back“
