“First time there and I was greeted by a very kind, inviting and great customer service oriented man. I did not have a long wait maybe less than 5 minutes for everything I ordered. I ordered a turkey croissant breakfast sandwich, a lavender ice coffee and cinnamon roll donut. everything was perfect. They have a variety of foods such as açaí bowls, breakfast sandwiches, donuts, coffee, boba and more. I went in around 11am on a Friday so the ambiance was quiet, clean and pleasant. It's a very small town vibe which I admire. it's an order at the counter and have a seat establishment! I definitely recommend! I would 100% return and probably try something new each time. P.S There is a school down the street so I can only assume this place would become so busy once schools out.“

“Country Kitchen (just like my Nanas house on the ranch). This small place, in Ripon, is a neighborhood classic. Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh and hot (nice! Very, very nice). Today (as always) my fiancé and I had the Chile Verde Omelette with a side of eggs (for me). Come out. Fell like you just came over for breakfast or brunch and enjoy a quaint conversation with a good hearty meal. Tell them ,"that guy" sent you.“

“This is one of my favorite places to go! The wine selection is wonderful and the staff is knowledgeable about the wines. The food is incredible. We always got the bruschetta with burrata and it's great. The balsamic reduction drizzled on the top with pesto and tomatoes is just lovely. We recently tried the smoke, whipped feta. We had a hard time not finishing the whole thing, it was that good! I've taken so many friends here. My company has get togethers here from time to time. At this point this place is just part of my culture. Camp 4 has been in Modesto for a while and we are lucky to have it!“

“Googled “vegan food near me” on our way home from Turlock to Stockton and so glad we found this place! GREAT food & service! We ordered the Cashew “Chicken”, Orange “Chicken”, “Chicken” strips & Impossible burger and everyone cleared their plates! We also had the Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea and Lemon Cheesecake, all super yummy! Wish they had a restaurant like this in Stockton! We’ll be back! ?“

“Came here for the first time and tried their pop up dinner. Menu is a set course. Price is fair compared to other menus in the area. Service was casual and friendly which I liked. Ambience is cute. Quality of food was good and tasty. I would definitely come to another pop up dinner and come back for brunch.“

“In town for a youth baseball tournament and found this spot on yelp. Delish! I had the California melt and it was super tasty and also just a really nice portion and presentation. It wasn't massive and dripping but it was just a perfect size and tremendously filling. Fries were great. Husband and son had club sandwiches and both really liked their lunch too. Would definitely come back when in town for baseball next. Only drag was Pepsi products which I can't stand. Would have killed for a Diet Coke with my yummy sandwich.“

“Asked for something strong while waiting for Jury Duty. It was stuffy in the courthouse so my usual hot coffee choice didn't feel appetizing. Wonderful barista recommended the white mocha frap with 3 shots of espresso and ground coffee beans for the extra jolt. Man it was wonderful and refreshing.“

“Bean and Leaf Cafe is the place locals are glad to know and have in their neighborhoods. Inside, they have a corner dedicated to local art and has a cozy, familiar feel, warm and inviting as compared to all those well known chains and what they present. On top, the flavors are better here. All their food and drinks show the care you'd want and hope to find. For example, their triple berry scone is light with a nice hint of sweetness, vs the ones you usually get that are dense and have a finish like a kids breakfast cereal. This is one of the few places that the Mrs will actual have a coffee drink. Again, it's lightly flavored and works well together vs the heavy handed flavors of chain stores. I've generally been treated well by chain store servers who put up with my bad jokes, but Bean and Leaf employees are helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make sure your order was right. They're a cut above.“

“The chocolate bubble waffle was scrumptious! As is the dragon fruit lemon slushy. I had gotten them when they first opened at 11a and when my kid got out of school, she was able to try the treats too and liked them. I had seen on yelps photo menu 5 months ago that the prices are a bit more now. The lady was kind enough to hear me out and show me that it has changed as well as answer my questions since it was my first time coming to a happy lemon. I've seen it everywhere and had never had a chance to stop by till now since it was close to my Quest appointment location. They are in a busy area so be careful with cars and pedestrians. Located near a McDonald's and wing stop which are very much known places people go. I do recommend this place as a special treat. It's really cute and clean inside with a few tables and a bathroom available. There is a whole lot more to just lemons here so a must try. I really even like the presentation of the drink and the wrap the bubble waffle was in. Definitely returning to treat my mini someday soon I added to my chocolate bubble waffle at home a chocolate brownie ice cream with 3 kinds of cereal toppings which made it even tastier. Only had the idea because I had it similar somewhere else but it made my day to have it again since I haven't found any other place that does that.“

“I ordered 3 dozen cupcakes weeks in advance for a party. A combination of red velvet, lemon, chocolate, vanilla and more. EVERYONE absolutely luved these cupcakes they were so fresh and so good! Also the customer service is so friendly here. I highly recommend this Bakery.“
