$6 for a the tiniest cup of beans or rice? The prices are getting ridiculous! They think we can't cook at home lol. Pollo Loco, let your ego down a bit, you're going to lose customers. Your prices are pathetic..... On top of that, their young staff aren't even educated. Teach them manners and customer service skills! The kids need the adults to teach them! Some of them seem soooo dumb.

Second time they have messed up my order when going through the drive-through. This place used to be one of my favorite restaurants now it has gotten expensive and the chicken they gave you is a joke, the breast and thigh Pieces are almost the size of the wings from Wingstop. Your basically paying 14 bucks for 3-4

Raised in Southern CA where El Pollo Loco originated, i KNOW how their food is supposed to taste. This is not it. The chicken is usually dry, the rice is nearly always over cooked or it has been under the lamp for too long, the pinto beans are bland and thin and the coleslaw is under dressed. I mention these because they are the STAPLES of El Pollo Loco. It is so disappointing because my husband and I were so excited about getting an El Pollo Loco near our home. It did not deliver on the anticipation. I really hope somebody sees this. I don't think it's too late but they really need to rework their food if they stand a chance at surviving that location. We will try it again eventually, but until then if we crave EPL, we will go to their location in Modesto, which serves much better food.
