Went here with some friends after a workout. My friends got the chicken katsu and loco moco. It was kind of a slow day when we got there, but our food came out quickly and fresh. They absolutely LOADED my friend's chicken katsu and gave plenty of the sides that it comes with. Really good experience overall.

I have been in search of the best teriyaki chicken. A friend and I have been a handful and places when he tells me I have to try this place. Knowing I'm not a real fan of Hawaiian food he assures me their teriyaki chicken is second to none. Sounds good to me. Off we go. We walk in and are greeted but a nice cashier. The restaurant was clean and empty. I explain what I'm looking for and notice there is no teriyaki chicken on the menu. She tells me they have it, it's called BBQ chicken. After confirming what I'm looking for and based on her recommendation, I ordered the BBQ chicken. Price was just under $20. The food comes quickly. That's good because I'm hungry. At first glance I can tell this is not what we talked about. Instead of a bed of white rice, it's two scoops on the side. Instead of sliced chicken it's one large slab of breast meat with skin still attached, spread over cabbage and served with a side of carrots and broccoli. Let me start by saying I'm bothered by the chicken skin but was trying to make the best of it. I went to the cashier and asked if they could cut the chicken for me. They did. I made a rice bed, layered the chicken on top, and applied teriyaki sauce like it was going out of style. Other than the large piece of cooked skin, it didn't look that bad. I took a few bites. I just couldn't do it. Everything tasted sweet and I don't mean from the obvious use of teriyaki sauce. Clearly they must use some type of oil, spread, or seasoning on pretty much everything. It just wasn't for me. I threw my food in the garbage and went to a neighboring restaurant to have lunch. What a waste of $20.

Last night 11/30/23 I got off work and decided to get the BBQ beef plate MY daughter and myself walk in remind you it's 8:25 pm. Ok says it's open till 9 pm I order my plate and the very rude girl work grabs the money out my hand then gives me a dirty look. I'm like ok even my daughter said what's that about. So we sit down to wait for the food and the joke time this girl looked at us rolled her eyes and giving dirty looks. She walks past I asked her is every thing ok her response was yeah it's fine. Ay this point I didn't even want to say anything more o just wanted to leave. She tosses our food at us and gave me the dirty looks again. Th owner was in there and I said I'm not sure what her issue is with us but it's pretty rude And I willl not return. Plus after I ate omg I got soooo sick. Still don't feel good bathrooms been my best friend.

Ribs and chicken are very good gave it a 4 because the fish was kind of mushy. Worth the money forsure.

I haven't been here in a while. Decided to check it out last night, the food was even better than before. Apparently, the cook that works at Ceres was at the riverbank site, and it definitely showed how much better the food was.

I didn't really order here but the guy was really sweet to me over the phone and from the looks the food looks very good and it has good reviews I'm really sorry to the guy we called the wrong place by mistake but he sounded very sweet.

Rude staff and the young kid working tonight had bad hygiene. Website shows they close at 930, we placed order around 750 they never mentioned that all orders are to go because they actually close at 8 now. They brought out food in to go bags and didn't let us eat there/ I told the staff that their website states they close at 9, he pointed to the door and said they have closing times taped to the door. Hmm well there's many signs posted and it's not really at eye level so no I didn't see that. Most people use Google to look up times so it would be nice if they update their hours. He just kept telling me times are posted on the door. No apology from him or the manager when I showed them what Google shows. Instead of saying "sorry about the mix up, but we changed our times", he just kept saying it's posted on our door. Food was gross anyways, dried chicken and the staff looks like they literally rolled out of bed. Restaurant staff should look presentable even if they're not cooking your food. To the manager or owner, be courteous to customers especially the ones who don't live locally and update your online hours.
