So sad to learn Bann Thai is closed. We've been coming here since 2011. Love Sam, Emma and the family. Food is the best Thai food ever.. nothing compares... looking forward to them opening up again.. cannot wait!!!!

This is one of my favorite Thai food spots in Riverside. I'm sad to hear they will be closing (last day is Dec 23rd). This restaurant is set up in a house that has been converted so there is a nice home feel. They have a great menu but I'm basic and usually stick with pad thai as my first option unless I'm craving something savory instead of sweet. The pad Thai was good and not overly sweet as I've noticed in some other Thai restaurants recently. The parking situation is basically a small lot behind the house/restaurant. It may be difficult to find parking depending on the hour you go eat there. I'm sad to see them go but look forward to them opening up in a new location eventually!

I went to eat here with my husband for our anniversary lunch! We are sad to find out that they are closing and we wanted to support their business on their last days. Food: I always get the Pad Kee Mao with chicken when I eat Thai food. I remember liking it from this location before but this time it was not very flavorful. I asked for it medium spicy and assumed it would have some heat already but I ended up putting a lot of extra sauce myself afterwards. Overall it was good and I had a good beer with it! Service: Pretty good! The guy seemed super busy though and clearly they were understaffed for a Sunday lunch. Overall he tried his best and tried to accommodate my request to open the blinds (because our table was very dark) even though the blinds ended up not working and the lightbulb was out. Other: Cute little house that was turned into a restaurant! However, it is sad that they are being forced to close because the property is going to be sold. I wish them the best of luck as they find another location to open their next restaurant!

This is BY FAR one of the best, if not the best Thai restaurant in Riverside. The ambiance is so nice to sit down and enjoy dinner (which is a big reason why I choose them over other restaurants). It is a very small building but it is dim-lit, quiet, and has beautiful decorations. It is also pretty affordable which is great too! My husband and I spent $30 last time we came with two entrees and an appetizer. Their fresh veggie rolls are amazing, I can't remember what they are called on the menu but they are wrapped in a sort of rice paper and come with an amazing dipping sauce, so fun to eat! The pad Thai is my personal favorite dish but everything else I have tried has been really incredible. I highly recommend this place.

Fast, friendly, and tasty!Ordered over the phone and was told it would be about 20 minutes. Arrived in less and it was already bagged and ready to go!Pad Thai was great, with super tender shrimp and lots of chicken! The sauce isn't overly sweet, and the spicy is by request. The Thai Iced Tea was spot on!

Excellent clean food! Whit rice was so good. Cashew chicken was unique. The won ton soup was good. Good service - nice decor inside. The satay chicken was tough with griddle and the peanut sauce was watery. Outside is rundown. Large portions!

This was once an okay Thai restaurant with average quality of Thai food found here in the US, and that is to say most food pre-made and not close to authentic. Of course even in Thailand there is variation in how many of the common dishes are prepared and have my favorite places but at least ones expectations will be somewhat met. Only a couple dishes I like found okay. Last time was served a overcooked chewy piece of salmon. Told the waiter and asked if I could have another piece. She brought out the owner(or maybe his/her family member) who refused to do anything helpful and told us to leave if we don't like it. Seems from other posts that this is typical. Will not be back.

We came here, all 9 of us, it was a perfect time beacuse we avoided the busy rush. The service was great and we were accommodated immediately. We made reservations to make sure we have enough spots for a big group. The food was sumptuous. I am only going to comment on the food we ordered: we got 2 types of fish dishes (3 flavored and spicy), both have their own unique taste. I like the spicy one. The yellow curry is just enough hint of lemon and spice. We also tried varieties of noodles, fried rice, and vegetable medley. You have the option to choose vegetarian or plain vegan. The Thai drinks are not non-dairy unless you order teas, sodas, or wine. Overall we had a great time and we were full to the brimmed. We also tried sticky rice and fried bananas. Sometimes, you have to be open-minded to flavors and new dishes even if the place is not ideal for your standards. This place is very underrated. I highly recommend this place if you have a chance to stop by Riverside CA.

I was dissatisfied. The pad Thai had no spice and no flavor was too light in color. And small portion. Will not come again

One of the best restaurants in Riverside. Easily some of the best Thai food I've ever had. A true treasure for Riverside.

Just had the worst Chicken Pad Thai of my life from this restaurant I have been to before. Seriously it looked like they just got the same liquid they use to make the Thai Iced Tea and just poured it into the pad thai to make it. It was even the same color as the tea. It was so bad. I ordered through Uber Eats so I kind of think they just didn't care how they made it because it was getting picked up by Uber Eats and they would not have interaction with the customer.

This one definitely went downhill since the last time I was there. I don't mind the wait which was 30 minutes and it's because the food has always been very good. But tonight I had to wait about 10 minutes just to pick up my food. As my food sat on the counter the owner sat at a table and just watched me stand there waiting. I assume it was the owner because the man came in and said Hi Sam. Once I got home to eat our food my my Pad See Yeu was mushi. I hope this was a one time issue because I won't go back there.
