Honestly the poke here is amazing, I kinda looked down on it at first due to the price and comparing the portions to panda next door but the amount of fish/protein you get for a normal is amazing. Definitely a more healthy alternative to the more greasy food around. I would argue that its better than some poke places off campus. Like other reviews have said the line does get long around 12-1 pm so I have always gone around 11am or 2pm+. Depends on your schedule obv. Thank you to all the student workers!

Pretty decent food selections from proteins to sides. Generally have beef, pork, shrimp tempera, and spam when it's available as the proteins and many of the sides and sauces are available. Food quality is on par and it gets me throughout the day. Lines could be long but they go by fast and service is great! Overall, it's a decent place to get food at campus.

The food is filled with salt. Anything but the rice feels like they dropped the whole bottle of salt on it, especially the avocado and og tuna/salmon.

ListenThis is not going to be the best poke you've ever had in your life. The service is great though they hire the nicest employees. It will become a vibe for your UCR days but that's about it. Options are limited on campus and if you're a fish connoisseur this will satisfy you for a moment.Really 3.5 stars because of the quality but bumped to 4 because they were so kind especially after they reopened from the pandemic.

Ordered a small bowl with beef and shrimp and was surprisingly better than expected. I maxed out on toppings and sauces so it was not bad for the price. They have lots of different proteins that I want to try out, so will definitely eat there again.

First time trying this place and it was alright, had a regular bowl with 2 scoops of beef and 1 scoop of shrimp tempura. Service was good and the line went by very quick even during the lunch rush. I don't know why it says temporarily closed just like all the other restaurants, but nothing in that place is closed it's all open! You can find the hours and days it's open if you look on the UCR dining webpage. Would give this place 3.5/5.

Very slow service. Expect to wait an hour in line during peak hours 11-3. Compare to Panda Express which is max 20 min at peak.

employees are super nice and very generous with their portions. i would've given it 5 stars but the salmon was still frozen. i highly recommend waiting a while before eating unless u like ur salmon a little crunchy. everything else was pretty good

Ehhhh I wouldn't say this is the best poke bowl I've had BUT it's the only poke place on campus. The fishes aren't and are drenched in sauces to cover up. They do give big scoops tho. They don't offer a large variety of toppings either (only has avocado, ginger, onion and seaweed salad). Avocado is FREE tho!

it is open now. it has a lot of technology issues at the moment. they could not accept my dining dollars due to the system being down which was inconvenient. in addition, they have closed early before due to their technology problems. the food was mid tbh i've had better poke and it was rlly expensive imo. the passion fruit mango black tea drink was too sweet and i did not get any sour kick from the passion fruit. it j tasted like the mango nectar juice you get from costco. i got the last bit of tofu so it was soaked in soy sauce and they ran out of rice so the salad was the only option. the seaweed salad was nice though! and the student workers were super nice and kind. they even gave me a lot of tofu. also the ginger slices were nice.

Convenient poke and boba on campus when you don’t feel like walking/going to the UV. Not the best boba you could get but if really want it, it’s up to you.

pretty decent poke and one of the tastier and healthier places to get food on campus. the food is comparable to outside poke places so it isn't bad at all! they also have cooked fish and meat if you aren't a raw fish eater. if you downloaded their app you get a free drink! i love that avocado is included because avocado is always extra at other places! my go to order is half brown rice and half salad, with ahi tuna and spicy imitation crab, ginger, seaweed salad, corn, and avocado with no sauce. would recommend if you go to ucr

Easily the worst poke I have ever had. The salmon isn't fresh it feels like I'm chewing on rubber. Also what kind of poke place has no type of veggies whatsoever.

The place is good. A little on the expensive side. Get the beef and chicken if you want to be full. If you want to get value then go for the cold dishes.

Located in the HUB, I first tried Hibachi-San's Poke bowl in January 2019. I had the vegetarian option with tofu, and the following week tried the tofu, watermelon
