This place is hands down the best fine dining in Riverside. I've been dining here since it first opened up. This place is my go to for date night and anniversary meals. Everything is good. The staff is excellent. I've been to many steak houses in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas and this is restaurant is up there with them. Truly authentic French cuisine.

My husband and I are from the Fresno area and are in Riverside to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We chose Le Chat Noir to dine and excitedly waited for our reservation to come. We were not disappointed in the least. The service was beyond compare. Staff stopping just to chat as they passed by and checked in. The food was indescribably amazing, absolutely a try it yourself to understand. And the atmosphere.If I was a Riverside resident, this would boost certainly be a monthly treat to ourselves.
My parents and I ate here together because we had been looking for a French restaurant that brought the foods of France back to my mother's memory. This restaurant did. Excellent French food. And to my surprise and pleasure, they were able to accommodate my food allergies and make a wonderful dish that was safe for me too.
We love Le Chat Noir and go there frequently. The food is great and we love the ambiance. The only weak point is their selection of wine by the glass.

We had heard a lot about Le Chat Noir and wanted to check it out. This place was everything we thought it would be and more. The ambiance took the date experience to another level, it was intimate and cozy, the noise level was on point, and the decor was nice. Our waiter was very professional and treated us like royalty, he made sure that we understood the menu and made his recommendation for a wine pairing. The food was delicious, I had the roasted pheasant and she had the duck breast, both were amazing. Unfortunately for other restaurants, we now use Le Chat Noir as the standard to compare to.
