I ordered one of the pricer rolls. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was served quickly. (FYI happy hour is 2-5 pm mon-fri.) The Geisha Fizz cocktail was a pleasure. I took satisfaction in the chill music and stylish, close-knit space. I look forward to my next visit.

The sushi roll was okay. Nothing special about it. The girl working there taking orders it's super rude and just for that I won't be going back there ever again.

Came for a girls night out with an order of the ProAbition roll and some seaweed salad(eating grass is a guilty pleasure of mine). Let me just say that I have never had a FLUFFY sushi roll before and it was amazing. I look forward to trying more rolls. The staff was delightful and attentive. I like that the setup is more intimately appointed in the corner of the Food Lab where you're not getting the full force of foot traffic.

Good was delicious and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. Got a couple of rolls and a couple of drinks. The 91 fwy and the rainbow menagerie were very tasty. The samurai old fashioned was so delicious. Will definitely be back!

This place was exceptional and the two working on the evening of 12/5-6 were great. He did awesome on the rolls and I’ll definitely go with the Cilantro roll from now on and she was such an awesome server/bar tender and sweet. I’ll definitely be back when in Riverside especially if these two are there. The place is far better than current reviews or at least my experience was.

as an employee, the food is made fresh, the drinks are beautifully crafted, and it's always a good time here :) AND THE RICE IS THE BESTTTTT

I've tried just about every place in the food lab, most of it has disappointed. The poke bowl was really good, all the ingredients felt fresh. I ordered a tequila soda, and my food was done quickly. Great place for lunch.

Came to try out the sushi at Maki and omg what a horrendous experience. First of all the ONE lady working, asked us to get up and order at the register while other ppl who got there she went and took their order at their seats. The food was ready about 25 min after we ordered. The food was so terrible the salmon had fibers and strings sticking out and was brown and fatty. Never eating at this place again. So disappointing you can tell the owner of this place doesn’t care for customer experience nor quality of food. Wasted my money on sushi I couldn’t even eat because I felt scared to get sick.

Waitress/bartender was super friendly when I arrived and made my drink relatively quickly. I ordered a poke bowl because I was a little overwhelmed at the entire food lab and didn’t know what I wanted and I was very happy with how everything tasted. Maybe I should have ordered a specialty roll to get something a little more special but their rolls were a bit pricy compared to the $20ish poke bowl with three proteins so that’s what I went with. They do offer a happy hour.. luckily I found a spot at their bar because the majority of the food lab struggled with AC so it was pretty toasty with all the people in the common area on a Friday night.

Thought this would be a good place to get some dinner but I was wrong. I ordered the poke and oh my gosh, that was the worst poke I've ever had.

This place is a hidden gem. You can find it in the Riverside Food Hall. Everything here is made fresh and delicious. Their sushi rolls are generous sized and can be personalized. Water bottles are really cheap here. They are also a bar. I had a bowl. You can customize them. The eel sauce is flavorful and strong. The bowl is very filling. Service can take a bit because they make it right in front of you. So worth it!

I was excited to try the sushi place after I saw on Instagram but once we got our 91 freeway roll and the jalapeño roll I wasn't so thrilled. The slices of fish are very paperthin. There's more rice than fish. I noticed that on the video when they made the Poké bowl I think they need to use more fish and less rice and also get fresh Wassabi. Service took a while. I guess cook had to come out of the kitchen to make them. We were the only customers and it took about 15 minutes or longer. The ambience is cute but since my kids were eating pizza, we didn't sit at the bar.

Looks like they got a new owner here because everything is new! I love the menu and my favorite roll is the DTR Roll, so far. They also have some cocktails that are worth trying out. I'll be back!
