Great African food. The server with the piercings in his nose was very nice and helpful to recommend things for my first time here. Everything on the menu looked good. The cuisines were about $18-$20+. The wings were about $15 with fries. Solid crisp to the wings. I thought it was a new type of cultural cuisine. Try this place out

This place is amazing!! I’m so happy I can get fufu nearby instead of driving to LA. The first time I went here I ordered in person, I’ve never had African food so I asked the worker for some help. She was very helpful and recommended a few things, but their menu was also descriptive which helped. The second time i ordered was via DoorDash, it was an allot more pricier compared to in person (which is expected) but the food was still great. I ordered eghussi stew with beef last time whixh was good, it reminded be of collard greens ngl. But the second time i ordered eforiro with beef and I loved it. I will have to order again and try the okra stew

Food was not authentic, flavors weren’t all the way there and pounded yam was watery, the egusi soup was missing the fish. But the service was really good they were friendly. I wouldn’t mind going back, I think they will get better over time.

Finally an African food restaurant in the IE that is done right. Mama Wale has taken African inspired food and brought it to Americans with grace and understanding that every food palate is not of the ancestors. Her food is a Nigerian home welcoming diversity in. I encourage everybody to explore this place and take your taste buds on an adventure. This is a great place to take a date to experience something new.

Such a fantastic addition to the Riverside restaurant scene! The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was kind and attentive. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine or spicy food, you'll love Nigerian. Also stop in for a fun and unique experience eating the food with your hands! They bring you a bowl of water to keep your hand clean as you eat, but of course provide forks and utensils if that's your preference. I had the fufu and egusi stew, with moi moi and catfish. Spicy, yummy, colorful, and plentiful proportions! The servers were friendly and explained the menu well. I can't wait to be back!

Excellent customer service. Employee will explain their dishes and make recommendations.Food is very tasty. I loved the salmon and the rice is flavorful. African style cuisine is not a common norm but it's worth a try. I recommend the jollof rice with your choice of meat.

The food is really good. I had never tried this cuisine before. I needed quite a bit of help in deciding what to eat. I can say the service was very good. They all took time to explain each dish to me. The ambiance was quite nice and calm. I enjoyed it. I've already been back a few times.

First time here. I love trying different cuisines, which can be risky, but this one did not disappoint! Knew I had to have a meat pie appetizer, a pastry with beef and vegetables served with a savory chili type sauce. Yummy! Employee very helpful with describing the various unique dishes. All kinds of variations with beef, chicken, goat and salmon. Chicken wings, fried cod, different beans and rice dishes. Plantains! I wound up ordering beef with a spinach and ground bean sauce. It was generous and delicious. Can't wait to try some of their other dishes.
