This place was so very good! The portion sizes are insane and you could definitely share this with at least one other person and even up to 4 people. I got the pot roast plate served on top of rice with yams, mac and cheese, and cornbread. The pot roast melted in my mouth. It was a little bit more on the salty side but overall still good! The rice was fluffy and delicious. The yams were great and had the perfect sweetness to them. The Mac and cheese was so delicious. The cornbread was so soft and moist. I’ve never had cornbread that was so soft like this one. It was delicious! Definitely recommend.

The food is great. I just didn’t appreciate the hour wait. And the lack of customer service I received. After it was finally ready the lady bagged it and walked off. Wasn’t sure if I received everything or not. No sorry for the wait or have a nice day. Nothing. Found that extremely rude. I spent $80 on food, waited a hour, and received bad customer service.

I drive far to get to this place, and their always out of food at or before dinner rush. Call your order in, don't get your heart set on something, and just show up, you will be disappointed. I stood in line while they answered the phone 5 times and sold out of food before disappointed.

They move pretty slow. There was a four people in front of me but I still waited more than thirty minutes. It wasn’t the hour before closing and they ran out of most of the menu. They had water leaking from the roof dripping on me while I was having my order taken. Food was good

Finally a soul food restaurant that actually has delicious soul food ...THANK YOU!!! I visited your restaurant Sunday and had the oxtail dinner with mac and cheese and greens....I was going to take it back to my hotel and enjoy it as I travel alot and wanted relax and enjoy it..I never made it back with the food as I devoured it right there ..I actually talked to the chef and told her she was gifted with her talent..... I'm on the way right now as I was looking at those smothered pork chops and they looked awesome!! Let's hope I can make it back to my hotel with my food this time!!
Everything was on point?I’m a truck driver from SC and I had to find me a good Sunday meal and found the golden spot. When I walked in the line was almost out the door and it stayed liked the entire time I was there. I had an oxtail plate with cabbage and greens. The food was excellent and the portions was more than enough?For dessert I got greedy and got the German chocolate cake plus banana pudding ? they were both delicious… If you are in the area definitely stop by you definitely want be disappointed.?⭐️

The food here is AMAZING! So far we've tried the smothered pork chops, the pot roast, the oxtail! All are tender and delicious every visit. The sides we've tried are the yams, black eyed peas, Mac n cheese. All are really good. The Mac n cheese is the best I've ever had. I keep missing the peach cobbler cheesecake, but looking forward to that! Going to try the meatloaf next time. Portions are great. Prices are great. Staff is very friendly. YOU MUST TRY!
