Fantastic! Every bite of fish was cold and fresh. I loved it all. It is evident that each piece of sushi and sashimi is created with creativity, care, and love.Thank you for having us.

I'm only digging them 1 star because of the price. But then again, this was the best sushi I've ever had in the IE.

Ok. I am not Asian, but I am a foodie. I have eaten at Alenea in Chicago 6 times. Now having said that. This place is amazing. Tuna bomb is amazing, Rainbow was amazing. I will be back soon!

This place hit the spot in quality sushi. I'm pretty picky about my sushi too. When my husband took his first bite, his eyes popped open not expecting how good it was going to me. Definitely worth it. I really like how we got unique flavors that didn't take away from the sushi itself. Happy belly here.

I'm giving this place 5 stars because it is really unheard of to have quality omakase/sushi around here in the IE. We didn't dine in, but my husband went to order and pick it up. U can't do any phone orders, or online, you have to pay and order in person btw. We got the salmon two piece, the Momo roll, lemon roll and the tuna bomb. All of them were very very fresh, we were surprised. And yes of course you would expect to pay for the quality. The three rolls we got were part of their premium rolls and they ranged anywhere from $22-25 dollars per roll. Now if you want quality, fresh fish this is the place to go, just expect to pay for what you get. It was so good. My favorite for sure the Momo roll, it had a citrus and crunchy onion texture. I hope this place does well in the IE bc it's really hard to find quality sushi out here and not in OC. I didn't dine in but my husband said the ambiance was really pretty and very fancy...but the area where it's at isn't lol but I mean what can you expect. It's in the same complex as Lowe's and Popeyes chicken and an urgent care lol. The surrounding areas are hella random. We also ordered the chicken karage for our kids, just mediocre tho, for $16 just go to Popeyes for chicken lol the sushi tho, highly recommend!

This place was really good.Inside is very neat and clean. The servers were very nice and helpful at explaining the questions in the menu. The food is top notch. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The hand rolls were excellent and the king salmon roll was really good. The lobster roll with the shrimp was also fantastic. The fried green tea ice cream dessert was incredibly good.Only issue is as this place is higher end, the prices are pretty high. Just know that going in and you won’t be shocked. We paid 50$ a person all in all.

It was our first time and we came here after shopping. Family was hungry and they were craving sushi. Plenty of parking outside. Got seated in the middle of the restaurant because there was no booths available. Decor was nice and it was quiet inside. Our family ordered the lunch Chirashi bowl, Bento box with salmon roll and salmon teriyaki and the baked salmon roll. My husbands meal came out first- Chirashi. His meal and mine - the bento box came with miso soup. Then my meal came a few minutes later. We were almost done halfway though our meal before my son got his baked salmon roll. He loved it! Overall we enjoyed our meal, however it would've been better if we were served our meals at the same time.

Momo Sushi has long been bookmarked and for good reason. A premium omakase experience in the IE is unheard of. Michelin Star omakase in Los Angeles are prevalent but to find something similar close to you? That's rare and Momo Sushi is a step in right direction: quality ingredients, skilled preparation and beautiful presentations. My first experience here was on Valentines and from what I heard it's one of the best times to visit. During the holidays, the restaurant has specials that include premium items. That night it was the Toro Neki w Fresh Truffle Italian and caviar. YUM! Well on to my first impressions. The omakase menu had three options: OMAKASE A for $80, OMAKASE B for $150 and the Valentines Set for $120. We selected the Valentines option. We first started with: soft shell crab and calamari. I definitely preferred the soft shell crab than the calamari. It was fresh, crispy and delicious. For the next course, the sides, we selected the: Kumamoto Oysters and the Salmon Tataki Both were outstanding. The oysters and salmon were fresh and quality of both were terrific As for the next, the premium sushi. ALL OF THEM were delicious. Excellent freshness and beautifully presented. My favorites were the Toro Neki and the Uni. As for the next, it was the premium sashimi, we received it late but I definitely thought the collection was unique. The typical sashimi were fresh and delicious. Notice the word fresh being used all over the review. You can taste it. The items that were memorable were the small flash fried crab. It was an intimidating experience trying to eat at first so I started a the legs first and then ate the body. Overall I thought it was all good. As for the last and final dish, the matcha cheesecake. It was very good. Well balanced. Sweet and rich. The piece was big so you wouldn't mind sharing. Overall, we definitely will be back. MOMO SUSHI is a hidden gem in the IE!

This place is amazing!! Truly, filled with amazing and delicious foods. We came on Valentine's Day, to which we were made known that we only had three omakase options to choose from: $80, $120, and $160. No problem! We decided to dine in anyways. We went with the $120 option and had delicious appetizers, sides, and mains. Everything from the nigiri to the dessert was delicious! But admittedly... we found the matcha cheesecake to be the best thing we tasted all night. Ironically, this wasn't made in house, but rather from a bakery in LA. Now, the interior of the restaurant was beautiful. Roses and lighting really set the atmosphere. The service was also amazing. Never got his name, but his top notch humor and energy really made our experience a whole lot better. However, I found the bill hard to justify. I was reluctant to spend $300 (including tip) on a meal where I found the cheesecake to be more enjoyable than all the sushi and mains we had (there's a lot more not pictured). It was delicious! But it's hard for me to find value and worthiness in this meal; unfortunately, I won't be coming back but if you're looking for a fancy meal that will definitely satisfy your appetite, give Momo a try. :)
