This is the best Mexican restaurant in my opinion. The food has always been fresh. Not terribly spicy which makes it appealing to those of us who cannot handle too many spices lol. The service and prices are excellent. The albondigas soup I ate today was value for dollar. Very filling. Meats and veggies were cooked thoroughly. I emphasize that because I have eaten Mexican food that was not cooked well so this place gets both thumbs up.

Service was awful!!! Had the worst service I have had for a long time. We couldn't even get a refill on our drink. The food was basic and overpriced for what you get. My enchilada was overcooked, and Tamale had no meat. Wont go back

Do not go there!! I went to have a nice dinner and the whole experience was bad!!!!! The waiter that served us our drinks and salsa/chips used his bare hands to put the chips in the bowl. I also observed him touch his hair then put his bare hand back in the plastic bucket of chips and serve them to customers. Also a female employee put chips in a bag with her bare hands and then ate a chip. My guest and I left before ordering our food. It also smelled dirty inside. Will never come here again. I wish I could write a review without giving any stars because they deserve a zero.

I gave this place another chance because we stopped coming to Olivia's because the food was not good and the customer service was bad. But nothing changed. We ended up walking out after we watched a waiter put chips in the basket with his bare hands. After he touched his face. The female Waitress filled a bag with chips and then put one in her mouth. That was enough. We got up and walked out.

Olivia is a sweetheart, she personally re-made a burrito for me that wasn't made right originally. This place has great food and I can see hey care about their guest. Appreciate you Olivia's, I'll definitely continue being a regular here.

The service was ok, but the 3 dollar required tip from each person was not. Don't take a oversized group to this place each of you will get hit with a large tip on top of that expensive soda you might order. OOO and The Guy who greets you that thinks he is funny and cute... not so much. His humor didn't work so well with me and a few others. Clue if you don't recognize us don't take it for granted we know you. I almost wanted to leave. A warm welcome would have been nicer than that not so cheeky manner. The food... it needed salt. I'm not a person who adds salt on much of anything, especially Mexican food. I had to add salt, or if you want it in the young chef terms, "Seasoning." I also couldn't find the cheese in my cheesy meal. My friends said this is a great place. The Prices were high and the food didn't live up to those prices. Sorry These prices were not LOW. They were pricey and add the demanded tip and it all spelled disappointment. It's a Old Riverside beloved hang out, I should know better than to give those places a chance. In my over 35 years here none of the "Best Places in Riverside" have ever impressed me. I think its the water! Still searching Riverside for good food.

I thought this place was good but I was very disappointed for the price you pay . The rice/beans looked days old and to my surprise my tortillas came in a plastic bag ( microwaved) I tried eating them but it was chewy ? . So I asked for an horchata expecting to at least enjoy a good drink ( powder) tried the Jamaica powder as well. Seems like the effort is dead . I came here because of the reviews obviously I was confused lol did we eat at the same place?.. ps. Not Mexican Food *

Great food and the owner is the best! He's always a joy to be around and interacts with the patrons! The salsa is the best in Riverside in my opinion and they make their own ranch dressing which is a make it or break it when it comes to salad! I have loved everything I've had there! If you haven't been you should go!

This was our first visit at this restaurant. I must say I was quite surprised. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The food came out quickly and tasted wonderful. We will definitely be coming back.
