Best camarones a la diabla in all of Riverside. They are very spicy and delicious, without the vinegar taste. The carne asada with shrimp is pricy, but worth every penny.

Looking for an outside place to eat. We encountered this gem in Canyon Crest Plaza. Pepito's is an ample place and very accommodating. We sat outside and our waiter was fast with our order and friendly. Salsa and chips were fresh and divine! Loved the salsa, asked twice for it. Our food came and it was plenty. We asked for containers to take home. The Jamaica was too sweet for me, it could have had more tartness. My dish was crab and shrimp enchiladas because the red snapper was gone. The black beans were so savory and fresh- I devoured them. My companions were also happy with their food. We skipped dessert- took home the churros though

This restaurant has good food and good vibes. The servers are attentive & nice. The atmosphere is casual and decorated very rustic. There is a second floor and outdoor seating as well, oh yes, and a full bar. ENJOY!!

If I can give this place less than 1 star I wish I could, they denied my wife and I on Easter when they were 5 minutes b4 closing , when we came next time the employee went on a tangent about the way I said cilantro and explained the owner is Argentinian so the food is not Mexican so if your looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant don't go here because they will try and argue with you for no reason. they brought me a bottle of tapatio completely empty it was so rediculous I should have left immediately, our waitress was soooo rude she never even asked us If we needed refills once and I wish I can take any tip I left back bc of how much the service and food sucked it had literally no seasoning trust me I'm Mexican this place is complete garbage don't come here! And I know they will know exactly who I am.

Our experience was a very enjoyable one. We had a waitress (Krista) that was a complete joy to be around. Her mannerisms, as well as her personality, were above and beyond her duties. What a professionally talented young lady! I would recommend you experience this waitress for yourselves. You won't be disappointed. A truly valuable asset to any restaurant.

We've had some good meals , both dine -in and take out in the past but tonight's was extremely disappointing . A Chimichanga with no sour cream or guacamole on the side ; two street taco size tacos ( no salsa Fresca ) and a cheese enchilada with unmelted cheese ... not with $35 Will rethink our Mexican restaurant choices in the future.

This was my first visit to this area; I met a group of friends, and we were seated on the outdoor patio, which was perfect. The waitress, LeeLee, was amazing and she had her hands full. I ordered the luncheon fish taco plate with beans and rice. The food was okay, not great. The chips and salsa were just average. Nothing was outstanding about the food, not even the guacamole. I would love to visit some of the other restaurants in this plaza-like area, but the parking is atrocious. I asked my friends how their food was and no one ooohed and awwwed. Overall, just okay.

With spring in full gear, the Canyon Crest center looks as nice as ever. We got to Pepitos in time for our reservation and got seated right away. When we made the reservation, we requested a patio table because of our large party. As we walked through the restaurant we hear live music coming from a saxophone player that played covers of familiar songs. It was nice that they left the patio door open so we can hear the music too. We got an array of dishes and majority of everything was tasty! The guacamole did lack some flavor. It just tasted like pureed avocado. It had the buttery flavor, but it was missing and pizazz and was in dire need of lime juice and salt. The queso fundido was fun to eat and they also gave you a side of corn or flour tortillas, your choice. The margaritas were just okay. They tasted pretty watered down and I got a sugar rim. By the time I got my margarita the sugar was already spilling down all the way to the bottom of the cup which made for a sticky handle every time I drank my drink. The entrees for the most part were good. Our server was super sweet and attentive. Pepitos is nice place to grab a bite to eat and I would come back every now and then. Notes: After your meal, walk around the Canyon Crest center as they have a good handful of local shops.

The saxophone guy was good but way to loud, and you got rid of the combo's again. Why did you do this Not coming back. The waitress was great, but couldn't hear her. Yep

We went to this establishment for my friend's birthday and we were expecting a fun experience with good food but instead we were bombarded by disgraceful customer service and an undercooked nightmare. As soon as our food arrived, (after a painful and lonely hour of waiting) an immediate and potent smell ransacked our nostrils. It smelled like post Malone's a****** after eating Taco Bell and chugging bud lights. Besides the horrendous smell the meat in the enchiladas was terribly undercooked. I'm convinced they slaughtered the cow in the back and stuffed the raw meat inside the enchilada and thought no one would notice. You gotta be stroking my left nutsack if you think I'm gonna eat that raw a** beef. On top of this, the waitress must've thought we were playing hide and seek cause we only saw her about two times the entire time. She was gatekeeping the complementary chips and salsa until we were basically on our knees begging. Anyways, if you want to smell like post Malone's a** and have a raging stomach ache go ahead and eat at this foul a** restaurant.

The fact that anyone eats here is unbelievable. No seasoning, over-priced white-washed garbage. Couldn't even call this Mexican food as a joke. Horrible customer service too ...if your food is trash, at least get the service together. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita is refreshing & delicious! The chicken fajitas are EXCELLENT! Ask for Nadali! Her Customer Service is friendly, fast & attentive.
