I've been here a few times and I enjoyed the food. This is inside the Riverside Food Hall in Riverside. Food: Good. It's a little heavy/greasy so I would try to share with someone else and/or get a few food items... after all, you're at a food hall! The burgers are pretty good and juicy and jam packed with ingredients. I recommend the couch potato fries - pork belly, yum... Inside: It can get pretty packed with people since it's fairly small (small for a food hall) so it can get quite hot/stuffy in there too especially during the summer. There aren't too many chairs/tables either inside so go early or off-peak hours unless you don't mind sitting outside Parking: indoor parking garage behind the Riverside Food Hall.

Unique-ish food but not that special or "stand-out" as it seems. Presentation better than taste but its still not bad. I like the mac n cheese burger here and I also like their fries. Its a bit pricy (but everything is in the Food Lab). Sometimes the food tastes too greasy so 4 stars. If I eat here, I usually just order their special tater tots. The mac n cheese burger is nice to try but its not something I would consistently order. The portions for the tots is not much as well.

The burgers themselves are average but good. For a drink, fries, and the plain jane burger I payed $18 and some. I don't think it's worth the money but none the less it was still good.

Loved the plain Jane burger + bacon with a side of tots. The sauce had a little spice to it which was a flavorful surprise.

Kinda disappointed with this place. I ordered the Unicorn nachos (small). The portion was VERY SMALL for $10. The chicken was very bland and there was barely any nacho cheese on the tortilla chips.

Came here today for the first time after reading the reviews. I ordered Maple Jammin and the Mac Daddy burger and thoroughly enjoyed both. Really well made burgers although it is a little pricey. Wait time was just over 10 mins for the food. Four stars since I enjoyed the food and I will come back to try other items on the menu. Good first impression.

Riverside Food Lab is a great idea, food halls are springing up all across N. America. I'm most familiar with one in Nashville (5th and Broadway) so since I'm down with the concept I decided to check it out and selected Pig Pen. I went with the Plain Jane burger and some Buffalo Totchos. The burger was a preformed 1/3 lb beef patty, American Cheese, lettuce and tomato, with thousand island dressing. It was okay-just okay. The totchos were tots, buffalo sauce, cheese and scallions. They were okay as well. What I ordered wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. I'm sure the other options have their own flare and could be better. You might want to try some of the other menu items if you stop by.

My husband and I came into the Riverside Food Lab and thought we'd give this place a try. The food was way too salty and overpriced. We were so disappointed. The only good thing we tried were the Unicorn nachos. This will be the only time we will come here. Sorry for the 1 star.

The cashier was very courteous, and quick to take my order, and the food itself was great! My wife loves Mac n cheese, so the Mac n cheese bun was her dream come true.

Food is good. Really like their fries. Service can use improvement. Too slow and uncoordinated. I will go back there again. I just wish the sitting area is cleaner. We sat outside and everywhere was filthy. Custodians need to be retrained. I like to see Riverside become a nice place to walk around and dine. Food Lab is new, a great idea but filthy and somewhat chaotic. Definitely have lots of room for improvement.

I hate long lines and i noticed nobody was at the Pig Pen. Which i didn't understand after eating my food because everything was bomb! I ordered the Shroomin Around Burger. It was greasy, juicy and full of flavor and mos definitely hit the spot! I ordered the Couch Potato Fries because who doesnt like pork belly?! Should definitely turn that into a burrito option!
