first I love the vibe the place is buzzing with happy eaters.
second is the food, everything is perfect all sides are amazing but the meat is the best bbq I have ever had.
if I am within 40 miles I will take a detour to Spirit of Texas BBQ.
easy on and off the 210 freeway and I am happy it is 1 hour away or I would be there every day.
I would work there for free if they fed me everyday.

First time coming.... Food was amazing. We had the beef ribs, beans, green beans... and were eyeing the yams that looked so good. The service was fantastic. We did come late in the day so they were out of a few items we would have liked to try. I would recommend a visit.

Located in Riverside, CA, this gem of a restaurant serves up some seriously mouthwatering dishes that will have you coming back for more. The brisket is tender and juicy, with the perfect amount of smoky flavor. The ribs fall off the bone and are packed with savory goodness. And don't even get me started on the sausage - it's out of this world! The care and attention to detail that goes into every dish and customer service. I've been dreaming about this spot since we last visited. Everything we tried was DELICIOUS! The yams brought me back to childhood when my grandmother would make them for thanksgiving. This food is cooked with love and you can definitely taste it and feel it with their hospitality. Stop going to the same places because you are familiar with it and don't want to waste your money on a gamble and something new... I PROMISE, you will not be disappointed.

The brisket is good. The sides are gross. If you want just meat go for it. Now the customer service is above the top. Very welcoming and friendly.

It was surprisingly good! I wanted some BBQ to take home to Palm Springs and this fit the bill!
Food is really good, they sell it by weight. But I feel like the prices is a bit overpriced.

For the price of the food, I expected a lot more. I purchased 1 lbs of ribs and it didn't come with bbq cause. The meat wasn't seasoned and was burnt.

The only similarity to Texas bbq is that they sell the food by the pound. I paid $47 for 3 small slices or brisket, 2 pieces of "burnt ends", side of Mac n cheese and a drink. This is a $20 meal at badlands bbq in corona. The brisket was not great, there was no smoke ring and a paper thin layer of bark, not flavorful at all. The "burnt ends" weren't burnt, and also had no bark or smoke ring. They were covered in fat, and the pieces were way too big. The place had no smoker outside, so are they really smoking the food? To be honest it seemed as if they were baking the food and using liquid smoke.

Food is good but we made big orders online twice (around $150 each time) and they forgot things. First it was sides and second time literally 2lbs of meat. Called in the second time and they made it right but cmon... probably good to eat there for single orders but be careful with big orders.
