The Salted Pig in Riverside is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. Their pork belly taco bursts with flavor, the pork belly burger is a juicy delight, the duck is cooked to perfection, and the dirty fries are irresistibly indulgent. It's a dining experience that's both memorable and deliciously satisfying.

We used to love to come here for their pork chop and Brussels sprouts. We stopped coming about one year ago. We felt since they relocated to the new place, the service quality came down dramatically. What a shame the food was delicious, but the service was the opposite. Last night, we decided to pay another visit due to their octopus dish. Well, we came out with a satisfied smile, which we thought had long gone. No doubt, we come back if they keep this level of service.

It's been a while that we wanted to try this place. We finally did after a few years of wanting to try. We came in during a very odd lunch hours, expecting to try many delicacy. We were surprised for the limited selections offered in their menu, most of the menu that we wanted were only offered during dinner time. The chicarones were just okay, a little bit on the saltier side. The taco was delicious, the sweet potato pie was yum. Kid meal came with fruit and some of the fruits were mushy and they still served it.

We had Mark M as our server this evening. He was amazing! I have lots of dietary restrictions and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. The chef was accommodating as well. Even with the food modifications the meal was amazing! The cocktails and wine were also excellent.

Food was out of this world. Steak, duck, Mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, cheesy fries, and a white bean green salad. All so delicious and well designed. Atmosphere is light, ariy, clean, and nice. Service was wonderful and cheery! Definitely going back.

I've been dying to try this place and decided to visit around noon on Sunday. I would have probably given 4 1/2 stars if I would have been able to order all of what I wanted but it was a limited menu during the time I visited. I wanted to try the octopus but that was only available after 5. The drinks were creative with a definite artsy twist. I tried two of their specialty cocktails and both I would have ordered again. My only vice would be that the wood ( I think it was Palo Santo) burns on the tiki drink continuously and the smell just overpowered the drink. I put water on it to put it out. Good thought, creative and good for a pic, but if I order it again I would request it without. There were a lot of things I saw on yelp that were not available because they were on a seasonal rotating menu. I had the bone marrow (4/5), one of my three pieces of bone marrow had almost no bone marrow in it. I thought the sauce was a little ketchup forward but it did complement the marrow. I did like the addition of the Fresno chilies because who doesn't like a little heat? I tried a pork belly taco and would give that a (4.5/5) and I'm not even a fan of mole. I took a couple of bites of Mac n cheese but thought it was a bit dry and needed more sauce (2.5/5). Overall, I would come back to try some of the dinner items and it's in a great location in Riverside downtown.

We ordered the bone marrow, mole taco, and the dirty fries. The bone marrow was slathered in ketchup which was... different. The dirty fries were amazing and extra garlicky. The mole taco was our favorite, and the squash flower stuffed with sour cream inside was an interesting touch.

This post is a little late, but, as I recall, the food here is wonderful. I had their duck l'orange, and it was sweet without being saccharine; and, while duck tends to be fattier (than chicken or turkey), it didn't feel greasy. The only downside is that parking to get to the Salted Pig is a bit of a nuisance.

This is a great spot especially if you love good “meaty” food.Of course I got the vegan options Brussel Sprouts, Carrots (no yogurt), and Rosemary Sourdough?I was concerned when looking at the menu online but baby everything was so good! My granddaughter had the cheesy fries and loved them.Great atmosphere, incredible staff and service.I recommend this business.Vegetarian options: They have a few options

The atmosphere is retro/industrial. Menu is unique and food was amazing. Tea is essentially kombucha and the make their own gingerale.

When the Salted Pig was in its old location we ate there at least once a week. Now, never. The old place had that bar feeling The new place is too sterile and the menu is not fun anymore. You could always expect something different. At 10 pm they had their delicious ramen bowls. Salted Pig is boring and the Lobby, Sire and Arts seems to have taken its place if you're looking for a bar to hang out with your adult friends and family.

Been coming here for years. It's a great staple for downtown riverside for sure. The food is great. The menu changes frequently and with very desirable and tasty food items. Don't skip out on the Moscow mule, best in the city.

First time trying out this place. It was a good experience. The food was good but I think it's a little pricey in my opinion. And I don't know if they were short staffed when we were there, but the service was not great. It took a bit long to get our food and even drinks seemed to have taken long to get. We wanted to try the bone marrow but that didn't happen. We came in before 6pm to give time for the bone marrow to be ready. The menu says bone marrow is prepped to and ready after 5pm. But that obviously never happened. It was fine and not a big deal at all. But I'm not sure if I'll recommend Salted Pig. It just seems a little pricey. The food was ok and hopefully they were really just short staffed the time we were there. I might try again and hopefully it'll be a better experience. Maybe have their staff also learn about the drinks they have. Overall, it was an okay experience.
