If you've never been to Thompson Brewing you are missing out big time! Amazing people, excellent food and beer. It's a place you go back to and feel like you've gone home.

The craft stout beers and chicken strips are fabulous. We loved the patio seating, it was breezy and relaxing. Oh and the maple/pepper ? Dipping sauce was delicious! ( not sure of its exact name ?) we will definitely be back!

It is good! The beef brisket is very good and tasty ! I'm not a beer drinker but my husband is so we like going there for the brisket and the beer!

I often travel for work and love to try local places. First off let me tel you that I ordered my food, got a honey beer (which was demand I hate beer), sat down and had my food in minutes. It was amazing!!! Brisket sandwich and fried pickles! Acadianas in San Antonio has always been my favorite spot for fried pickles. But Thompson Brewing have them a run for their money! Great service, and a clean establishment.

Love, love, love Thompsons brewing!! Amazing Food, great atmosphere, really tasty beer and don't forget about their Slushies!!! Uffff make sure you grab one of those before they run out for the day. Also as a parent I love that they have a play area for the little ones! Also the service is some of the best around!

It's great that there's a place like this is in Riverside, but neither my wife nor I were impressed with any of the beer we tried here. I counted 22 beers on the menu that they make--we tired 3 of the IPAs and the saison. Not great. How can they make anything good when they're spread out between 22 brews? Food was much better and the place had a good atmosphere that was family friendly. Just don't go with high expectations for the beer.

Been here a few times thanks to a Groupon that allowed us to sample their beers and food. This is a local and family friendly gastropub in Riverside where you'll experience great drinks, even better food and fantastic service. Lots of seating indoors, outdoors, upstairs- its a really comfortable, casual and low key environment to enjoy drinks and a great meal. While I'm not a huge beer fan- they have a great selection of seltzer to choose from and I believe they change up their menu from time to time. We each decided to order a "flight " - which is a generous sample of 4 of their drinks. I selected their seltzers while hubby ordered from their beer selection. We both enjoyed our flights- especially the Tangerine seltzer for me! As far as food- I had their veggie burger and its seriously one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had. It was served btwn soft pretzel buns, a secret house sauce, pickled onions and other goodies that made this quite a treat that I would definitely order again. Hubby ordered their chipotle burger which he loved too because he was pretty quiet while we ate and cleaned his plate! Both burgers were served with fries- which as ok. Enjoyed our visit to Thompsons Brewery- come early to beat the crowd. Cheers!

Yelp has been pushing me toward trying Thompsons for quite some time. Suggestions kept popping up. So I decided to pay the place a visit. It didn't take long to formulate an understanding that this visit would be the first of many more to come. It's located in an unassuming building, looking more like Dunder Mifflin than a place to drink and eat. But when entered, its true identity is realized. The place is massive. Seating to the left, seating upstairs, seating in back by the brewery, and outside seating in the back back. Very well organized with walk-up service. Choose a brew, or a flight of brews from an extensive list of beers. I had a White Ale, and then another a few minutes later. It's served as you order. If you're so inclined, you can move on down the line to order food....which I highly recommend. Do I ever recommend it! Everything we ordered was a hit. The Brisket sandwich a hit, as was the Brisket Mac and Cheese. But the homerun was the little cup of bbq pork beans that was served with my Brisket sandwich. They were the absolute best beans that I have ever had. I've been on this earth for almost 65 years and never have I tasted such a delicacy. Judge for yourselves, and you'll see that I'm not exaggerating. Bring the family. There are numerous opportunities for the kids to explore and enjoy....grown up kids too! Quick Tip: If you encounter a line that extends out the door, not to worry. Though it's not Covid spacing that's at cause, (it's a solid line), it'll move fast. Like I mentioned earlier in this review, Thompsons is well organized. Very nice folks behind the counter, and the patrons were nice too. The people at the tables kept smiling at me. I'd like to think that it was my rugged good looks, but more than likely, it was because I forgot to zip up my fly?
