Just a great place grab a bite had Carnitas Tacos and Meat Lovers Pizza. Order a burger and make sure you have a stack of napkins or a bib. Their burgers are so good, we had to go twice to make sure we had it right. But when you start with a great, custom blend of ground beef, cooked to perfection, there is little to argue about.

Most of us got pizzas and they were across the board great. I got the meat lovers and it had the perfect amount of meat and nice fresh thin dough that I rolled up New York style. My daughter got a salad and grilled cheese sandwich and she ate it all, which is almost unheard of. highly recommend this place

I ate here at lunch when in town for a conference. The pizza is great, cooked in front of you in a woodfired oven and comes with a generous amount of toppings. The menu has lots of options and a good drinks selection. Service was welcoming, casual and friendly, a great experience.

A favorite place for tasty Pizza. I should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again.

This spot knows how to satisfy their clients. Consistently with a very welcoming mindset. The food is affordably priced, regularly flavorful and clean.

Is this place really closed or is all this a hoax? Only got to go twice and both times were fab! Great food and service. I really hope the owner comes back from fishing.

I didn't go myself but my kids stopped there to order a pizza for our Thanksgiving get together like 4 years ago! I thought it was the best pizza I had ever had. Delicious thin crust veggie pizza with artichoke. They said it was nice inside and they sat down while they waited. Good prices for gourmet food with a casual atmosphere!

This WAS the best Pizza in Riverside - I can legitimately say that because my fiance and I are from the east coast. Next best is Pietro's on Brockton. Best wishes to the owner and staff.

To the owner of Woodfire. This place was genuinely great. An environment that felt like I was not in a generic sit down, with service that felt like a family member talking to you, with food that genuinely made me smile I say thank you for your service and hard work into this place. Im sad to see this place go. This place was a place of peace, away from the stress of me taking classes nearby, and from the end of an 8hr shift. The food here is and always was amazing im happy I got to experience the food here and hope the best for the owner and everyone that worked here. Thank you.

The food was okay. I was amazed that they ran out of Dough and ingredients, and was unable to fulfill our orders, instead we had to eliminate three meals and combine our orders to share. The Waitress, although very nice, was clumsy and was dropping everything and spilling drinks on our party. Then come to find out, there is absolutely no parking at all, unless you park on the busy street, or on a side street; as the parking lot out back can not be used as the neighbor in the same building will have your vehicle towed, which will cost you at least $300.00 bucks to get your vehicle back; however, they have no signs at Woodfire, to warn patrons not to park in the parking lot directly behind the business. Now, on a positive note: The food was pretty good, but not greatest; however, for what the place is the food is as good as it can get. The staff, was nice and accommodating as possible, considering that they ran out of Ingredients and Dough, and a patron’s vehicle was towed away and cost them over $300.00 bucks to get it back (me). The waitress did go next door and ask them to get the vehicle back and the neighbor (A Sex Shop), and they refused. (I SUPPOSE I SHOULD HAVE WENT NEXT DOOR AND BOUGHT SOME CONDOMS OR JELLY, TO BETTER TAKE THE SCREWING I GOT ON THE TOWING).

I was skeptical of a place that served both burgers and woodfired pizza but the pizzas are pretty great! I've tried both the mushroom pizza and the garlic and anchovy pizza and both were very good. The large is perfect for 2 to share. Definitely the best pizza I've had in Riverside. Side Caesar and caprese salads were good too. They have a small selection of craft beer on tap, for I believe $7. One thing that bothers me about this place is that I've never been asked if I wanted another drink or dessert after my initial order - the servers just drop a bill off as you're taking your last bite of pizza.

I would love to give this place a 5-star review. The food was delicious, and the wait staff friendly and helpful. But they got a few things a little wrong...and really blew it in a major way. Still, I'll probably go back and try again...the food is that good. We ordered a calimari appetizer and two 12 inch pizzas (a Garden and a Supreme, or whatever the combo is called). The calimari came out quickly, and was huge, hot, and delicious. But the cocktail sauce (homemade, I think!) was served in literally the same tiny cup the Mexican places use for hot sauce! I had to ask for refills twice. Worse, though, was the wait for our pizzas. We sat down and ordered. Then a couple sat beside us...they ordered, ate, and left before our food showed up! I estimate we waited about 30 minutes for two 12 inch pizzas. Unacceptable. If I didn't have an appetizer in front of me I would have left. When they arrived, the Garden was awesome, with generous portions of toppings and the best crust I've had in a long time. And the Supreme was pretty good too...plenty of meat (including an awesome fennel sausage) and that same great crust. But there were literally about 5 pieces of bell pepper, and about the same number of mushrooms, on the whole pizza. Meh. Not what I'd call "Supreme," sorry. We paid about $45 for the whole meal, and so much of it was awesome. It seems inexplicable that they'd do all that and skimp on the cocktail sauce and a few veggies. But a 30-minute wait (while the couple that came after us got their food quickly) really ruined the experience for us. I hope they work the kinks out, I was so close to being able to write an epic review...
