They were very busy so we had a bit of a wait but was worth it. Food was great and they had quite the mimosa menu. I had the Cajun omelette which was quite tasty.

Tried this place for breakfast on a rainy Sunday. The food was very enjoyable with reasonable portion sizes (more than you should probably eat in one sitting but not a crazy amount of food). Their staff was definitely busy as well. They were still kind and attentive enough. Late Sunday morning breakfast/brunch in Rocklin is quite busy (generally speaking) and this place is no exception. We arrived at what felt like, right before the rush. Because of the rain, their patio seating was not open and so this probably helps explain why they were packed already. My one complaint is that the hosting area and getting your name on a list for a table was a bit confusing. This wasn't just me and I observed several customer who had the same confusion. Since there is not really a waiting area for seats, people were standing in and around the door (because they didn't want to stand outside, understandbly). I don't know how they could solve this problem since it just seems like they are already doing everything they can with the space.Food was well seasoned and the breakfast potatoes are really yummy. I always have a tendency to order things that are on the menu but then customize them pretty wildly. Our server didn't even bat an eye and was able to handle my request with ease. Omlettes are excellent choices here and while my wife and I tend to enjoy savory breakfasts more than sweet, we did observe other patrons who were enjoying sweet dishes as well. For our respective breakfasts, the food here tastes less greasy (generally speaking) than a lot of other 'hearty breakfast diner style restaurants. For us, that is definitely appreciated because you feel like you can eat a properly seasoned meal and still have energy to do things for the rest of the day.Overall, we enjoyed our meal and experience and I think Hot Off the Griddle will make it into our rotation of breakfast haunts in Rocklin. Just beat the Sunday morning rush.

Good breakfast. Only issue was the very cheap cutlery. Fork was so weak it bent when using.

Made a stop here for breakfast as I was passing through. The place was very busy (good sign!) with a line going out the door. I was solo so I was able to snag a seat at the counter right away. With it as busy as it was, the staff were awesome with getting to everyone as quickly as possible. All while keeping a smile on their faces! I had the Cajun Omelette (hot links, onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, and jack cheese. I also had a coffee and cranberry mimosa. They have a looong list of mimosas! The food was delicious and pricing is very reasonable. I'll definitely stop back in when I'm coming back through the area.

Absolutely the best breakfast throughout the Sacramento area, and frankly beyond. It’s great to be alive.

Greeted and seated quickly. The woman who waited on us was very sweet and ensured our water stayed full which was really nice. The food menu is pretty basic for breakfast foods. When she brought out the food it was nice and HOT! The food taste was average. Nothing special to be honest.. Prices are decent. It will be a one and done for us.

Walked in, no wait to be seated. Had the "2,2,2" with a waffle bacon and eggs. Best wafflesl I've had outside of my own kitchen. Bacon and eggs were were cooked perfect. Everything else I saw served looked amazing. Will be back if I'm ever in the neighborhood!

So glad to see a HOTG open closer to home. They do basic good breakfasts in a fantastic way. Menu has all the classic breakfasts you would expect, daily specials such as banana bread French toast adding a bit of flair. The wait staff is very friendly and make you want to come often enough to be considered regulars. We are definitely aiming to be among the regulars as we make this a normal stop when out for breakfast or brunch.

We absolutely love this place. It is a place where you feel like home. Food is well prepared, the restaurant is clean (so are the bathrooms which is a big plus for me), and honestly some of the best food you will ever have. The staff and service is probably some of the best we have had in the area - like even at expensive restaurants in the area - we do eat out a fair amount and these folks are just kind, thoughtful and thorough. We had the corned beef, it is made with real corn beef - not salty / not fake potatoes - like it is what my grandmother made when I was young. Seriously good selection of breakfast and lunch food plus yummy drinks (mimosas too). HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant you won't be sorry you went.

Had gone to the Natomas location years ago with good result. Giving up on regular spots that were too busy today we saw this location near home and decided to try it. We will definitely return! Food was really good. Nice size portion, made fresh and many options that made the decision of what to try first very difficult. We opted for the California omelette and chicken fried steak. Would order again! Staff extremely friendly and fun. Coffee was smooth and often filled. Definitely worth a visit. Brenda and Crystal joked and provided stellar service. Going to be a regular stop!

We love Hot off the Griddle for breakfast. Everything is just a notch above the other breakfast spots in town. To top that off, the service is great and they make a really good cup of coffee which is just something that we rarely get when we go out to breakfast. We will be back :)

Our first time here and definitely will not be the last! I had the BEST corned beef hash! The meat was soooo tender! Everything was good. Excellent customer service! Bathrooms super clean. My only recommendation would be to have guest that are waiting for their table to stand outside. We sat near door and had people standing next to us while we ate.
