Ordered take out from restaurant on 08AUG2022. When I was notified that my order was ready I came to pick up my order and there was a sign on the door that said it was closed temporarily.Called restaurant several times and contacted postmates regarding the online order. No one answered from restaurant and postmates advised to contact KoJa Kitchen for refund. Have been trying to get in contact since yesterday and no refund so far for food that I never received.

Every single time I'm in the area I have to stop by for their beef koja and one of their boba drinks. The flavor of the rice "bun" with the beef and pineapple is next level. 11/10. Highly recommend.

Pretty good fast casual Asian cuisine. Was surprised by the drive thru only but it worked out after a long drive. Ordered their chicken bowl, crispy chicken bowl, Korean BBQ taco and loaded fries.

First time visit and in heaven! I tried all 3 options of chicken, pork and beef. All were great and flavorful! Try the fires with meat! The "rice not buns" is ingenious! Quick. Friendly staff. Just disappointed that there is no dine in, only drive thru.

Drive thru only due to employee shortage. Bummer because I drove all the way from Sac to eat in my car. 100+ degree day outside tea should have had some ice. Tea was ok, but in my opinion not worth the price. Had to try a little of everything first time. Braised pork koja was delicious! Chicken taco was delicious! Kamakazi pulled pork fries were delicious! Spam.musubi was good, but the spam was so thinly sliced I could not taste it. Was a bit disappointing. Prices have gone up, got a to go menu but prices were outdated. I see now there is a location in Downtown Sac, which has combo options. Wish this location had combo options as well because it was just over $30 for everything, but I did end up getting 3 meals out of it. Would definitely come back for in house dining.

It is with a heavy heart that I will give this location a one star review. In all Ernesti the food is very very good and it’s probably one of my favorite fast food establishments.HOWEVER I have been here no less than five times recently just find that the doors and drive thu are closed during their posted business hours. Heartbreaking to see that this place will lose my business because they can’t staff their restaurant or make a simple business hours change online.

Ordered a short rib bowl. The amount of meat they give looks tiny, but it's definitely quality over quantity. It was just enough for 1 hungry girl. I would ask for extra kimchi next time though.
Amazing fusion food in a portable experience! Delicious soy chicken wings and mouthwatering umami fries ? would def drive back to Cali just for this food!

I had high expectations after hearing good things about Koja Kitchen. Sadly, I was a little let down. The garlic rice bun crumbles extremely easy and the pork on my umami fries was cold. The pork belly was very tasty and the restaurant wasn't all bad but I don't think I'd go back any time soon.

If you traveling passing through California I would very much recommend for you to stop here. The burger took me by surprise so sweet yet the juice of the meat and lemon was soaked perfectly by the rice shaped patty. The chicken was super crispy and juicy to perfection in my book, a crunch of every bite with the softness of the chicken inside, nothing but never ending satisfaction on cloud 9. It was drive thru only but the gentleman was kind enough to le me go inside and use the restroom also thankfully. But overall over 9000 I say. We had to drive around in the drive thru again to give him a tip because it was beyond.

This has to be the worst place to pick up food from. The doors are locked and it's drive thru only. The order I was picking up was suppose to be ready and 20 mins later still not ready. So I called the store from the drive thru and the lady was so rude I asked her if they could just bring the food outside, then she yelled at me and told me that they were just now making the food. And then she hung up on me. I wouldn't recommend getting anything from here.

There is a variety of foods to choose from that are unique and delicious! Tried a variety of their rice burgers which did have alot of flavor. The concept is great and unique, however it gets soggy super fast and falls apart very easily. But other than that I'd definitely would recommend trying it out! They also have great sides.
