“I was a huge fan of Delirama, my absolute favorite sandwich was the Delirama Mama, so I was sad to hear the owner was going to pivot in a new direction. I prefer take out to dining in, so I waited for that to be an option, and put my order in today. I got a fried chicken sandwich and the pastrami Reuben, both with chips. The menu says a small salad is served with the sandwiches.The fried chicken sandwich is HUGE and delicious. I prefer my fried chicken to be a little on the dark side, which this was. I only wished there were more pickles, but that's because if I could subsist on pickles I would.The Reuben was the same as the Delirama one. My husband was bummed it was "so small," but that's because I used to get the biggest sandwich option and this one is the regular sized one.The chips were yummy, and still warm from the fryer by the time I got home. Or had just taken on some of the radiant heat from my sandwich. Either way, delightful.The salad is not small, it is quite generous in size. The dressing is a little sweet and a lot acidic, which I really enjoyed. My one complaint is that it was overdressed for me, but I prefer the minimum amount of dressing.I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was a bit dark inside for me.“

Our server was nice, quick, and very attentive. Always making sure our tea was hot and we were well covered. A couple outdoor tables, and a good amount of indoor. Tons of take out action. They have cool purple rice as a signature. And the fish was very tasty! Highly recommend. There is a good sized parking lot next to the restaurant. Just be sure to park with caution; the neighboring Ace hardware brings a lot of turn over of large work trucks that have some challenges with the parking lot. (Tea was very good) The day's serving is on the wall. No need to choose because what's listed is what you get on your plate it is a little bit of everything. Only decision is what size (amount) you would like. Either moderate or large basically. The food we received was very good all around especially since we eat more than vegetarian/vegan food. I could easily convert if all tasted like this and if I could cook it as well to be that flavorful. The service was also very good. Everyone is very nice and pleasant. It was quick but also be patient if they get busy as they serve and cook. No complaints! The ambiance is simple as it should be for this type of restaurant. It is no frills which aligns with there beliefs. A picture of the Dali Lama is on the back wall. Also their restrooms are very clean. You can smell the cleaning products faintly when we were there but I can't complain because it showed they did a great job. Many places do not do the same upkeep nowadays. I will definitely be coming back! Oh did I mention the prices are very reasonable!“

The owners Naomi and Dan are wonderful people and they create daily specials that they run out of almost every day because the food is that delicious!!! One of my favorites is Tuesday special: breaded pork chops with Mac& Cheese with gravy! My picky 4 years old LOVES their Mac & Cheese!!!! She asks for it every day LOL I love their fried Brussel sprouts !!!My husband loves their smoked andouille and chicken gumbo!! The soups are made from the scratch and are very yummy! Cream of cauliflower is our favorite and we also love others : mushroom spinachoke ( which is spinach and artichoke), southern chicken succotash. They have a lot of different soup which we haven’t event tried all yet. The soups change daily so check every day foe their soup special. Their po’ boy sandwiches are amazingly delicious as well! We love oyster po’ boy and sausage po’ boy and shrimp po’ boy all are delicious! Saturday 8-10:30 only they have yummy dessert beignets but you gotta call ahead coz they sell out of them fast!!! And the rice and beans special which they serve on Saturday is delicious! You can’t go wrong with ANY of their food but you CAN go wrong if you’ve driven and haven’t given them a chance! “Was looking for a birthday cake that wasn't too sweet and was recommended the chocolate raspberry cake. We let it come to room temperature before serving and it was absolutely delicious! Moist cake (very similar to a moist cupcake consistency), chocolatey and not too sweet (they use Swiss chocolate) coupled with bites of fresh raspberry buttercream-- Very happy we came upon this bakery and looking forward to visiting more often!“

Shrimp pasta 4/10 no flavor , but super creamy though. Was excited for the pasta but lacked seasoning.
