Have been to habits for years and never seen happy employees lasting there for long. They have a lot of turnover. Burgers are still great. Tempura green beans and orings are wonderful. The tuna used to be seared with a pink center unless you asked for it to be more well done. Now they overcook it to rubber and aren’t happy when you try to ask for it to be pink. If you ask they’ll cook it extra as retaliation, or perhaps just inattention. I don’t think upper management treats these people that well.

Maybe I went at a busy time but this place was chaotic! I guess a previous employee was visiting and none of the employees could focus. The food was good. I thought the patty melt would be larger considering it's practically $10.

It's one of my favorite places to get a burger. The food is great, they are quick making your order, and cheaper than going to a fast food restaurant.

This place is well run, with hard working staff that appreciate their diners. I'm not a big fan of the burgers, but they're ok... but I go there because honestly the people there rock, it's close to where I live, and it's just a nice place to eat. Compared to the mess next door at Chipotle (1 star in every way).

Just stopped here to order 6 kids meals to go. When I said can we please have 6 kids burgers the answer was yes but only with ketchup. When I asked why and if we should go to another location to add grilled onions or lettuce to them the answer was yes you can go to another location . Never experienced such a rude service at a Habit location.

Have been here for both eat- in and delivery Service is impeccable Always fresh and clean Always delicious Heads up: This location is a local teenager hangout due to their proximity to a school and the convenience of the mini-mall. (The teenagers tend to take up a lot of space and move around from table to table-they also tend to be a little loud) The Habit as a chain is an awesome, slightly upscale alternative to In-n-out due to their fresh ingredients, ability to get chopped grilled onions and fast service . They offer a lot more options than INO. Fried Chicken, sourdough bread, avocado, sweet potato fries, and much more make this an upscale, fantastic place to eat-in or take out. This location has fast, friendly service. They are in a convenient location, our order has always been correct despite our multiple modifications. We recommend the Santa Barbara Char and the Original char. fried Green beans are a nice alternative to fries(fries should be ordered extra crispy for maximum crunch and optimal flavor) . We always ask for Honey Mustard as the dipping sauce (worth the extra charge. When ordering online: add ranch and call in to substitute) Overall, if you're looking for a quality burger, the Habit will not let you down

I usually don't review chain restaurants, but their low rating has always confused me. I'm always a regular at habit and at a few of their locations. It's a fast food place but a step above places like McDonald's / Burger King. I have noticed this location does get pretty busy and yet their tables and everything are always clean. I always get their chicken and their green bean fries. Which are the only way I'll eat green beans lol. (Highly recommend their teriyaki dipping sauce and their ranch dressing) They also have pretty good salads and their lettuce wrapped burgers are great if you have any restrictions. This location is really nice and located in a shopping center with a bunch of other places (target, bath and body works and even a crumble cookie) so it's really convenient. Also, tons of free parking around. I'd say on average it usually takes about 10 minutes to get my food. They give you a buzzer that lights up and then you bring it to the counter and pick it up. I'm a fan of their jalapeños on the condiment bar. They always keep it stocked up and clean Also, if you're a regular at habit, like myself. I highly recommend you downloading the app. I just received a 15 percent off coupon on there (along with other things when I first downloaded and signed up for it)

Today I had lunch at The Habit in Rolling Hills and had the pleasure of trying their Santa Barbara Char. I arrived at 11:30 am to beat the lunch crowd and ordered from the kiosk, which was a convenient and time-saving experience. To my delight, my sandwich was ready in no time. The Santa Barbara Char was an absolute delight. The perfectly grilled, flavorful charbroiled burger combined with avocado, tomato and fresh and crisp lettuce created a burst of flavors with every bite. The sandwich was well-portioned and satisfying, making it a perfect midday meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was welcoming, and the efficient service made my visit even more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're in the Rolling Hills area and looking for a delicious and quick meal, I highly recommend trying The Habit and indulging in the Santa Barbara Char.
