A1 is the hidden gem in Rosemead. Now they have Hainan chicken rice, and they made it so well. I think it can be compared to Savoy, and I like it even better. The side vegetables vary, but they are all very refreshing and healthy. Their sauces are delicious. If you order Hainan chicken, the wait is very short. They can make it pretty fast. However, be patient to wait a little longer if you order other items on the menu. Surprisingly their pastry goods are SUPER good. My personal favorite is their Bolo bun with butter. It was such a treat to have during my lunch break. I like to support business, and this place deserves more business than they have right now. I hope this review will bring more people to try this place.

I came here around 4:30 pm and most of the pastries has sold out. It doesn't look like the picture that was posted 4 years ago that had a wall of bread instead of dining tables now.I bought a tiramisu for 3.95 and it is sooo worth the price. I think it's the the best around town as it has a cherry on top, fresh and balanced. The owner also brought out a tray of egg tarts but I didn't but them since they don't look like ordinary round ones, now that I know their tiramisu is good, I'll definitely try them out next time. There is a menu of Asian food that look very appetizing.

First time visiting. The food was extremely delicious. Highly recommend their curry menu. It was amazing! However, a bit salty. Price was acceptable but a little bit to the higher end. However, the quality and quantity is there for the price.

This store is no longer selling bakery and desserts. It is a place that has Hainan chicken rice and Indian curry. The store is small, and the wait is long. I don't blame them since this is their first day to reopen in a restaurant-style. The food was good, But they overcharged me. In the beginning, I ordered the special curry sauce hand pie, which was $8.99, and then they came back and Said it was not available. I switched to the pork chop and pineapple bun. When I was ready to pay for the difference, the cashier said I needed to pay $5. Since I had waited over an hour for my order, I trusted him. But, when I look at the menu, the price of the pork chop or pineapple bun is only $10.99. I overpay the bun by $3. Lean on learned, never go to a place on their first day. In addition, not sure why they put 皮蛋 on the Hainan Chicken rice.

Picked up pastries and a lemon tea. Their custard bun was tender and custard wasn't too sweet. The lemon tea is such a steal and their pastries are also of great price. Give this place a try!

The drink was way too sweet for my taste but the bread was fluffy and on point. Maybe I'll ask for no sugar drinks next time!

The service was good and the guy was so nice to my mom on helping her pick a cake and it's the best experience ever and the cake was $25 and not expensive at all.

Came late afternoon on a Sun and bought the last 3 cupcakes. Was a little worried as it looked like business was slow, but thanks to the reviews I went ahead with the purchase. The cupcakes took a few minutes to frost and when we ate them later that evening they were fantastic. They taste like American style cupcakes with buttercream frosting but not as sweet, which is the way I prefer my desserts.

I went to get some sweets and macarons not really much of a selection and overpriced bbq filled bun/bread was dry and macarons definitely not worth the 2.00 each price. Oh well I wanted to try it out and maybe have a new place to stop by for some good treats but I did not find this place too be it at least not for me.

The cheese cake was nasty ...the tres leche was super dry and they both tasted old. I also got a 3 layer cheese cake and it tasted nasty like rubbery. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

I think this little place deserves more customers than they have right now which make me feel sad because there aren't many customers coming. Been here a few times since I have classes at PCC Rosemead which is right at the corner. Not only they have bakery, cake but also drinks like milk tea, smoothie and coffee at a fair price, a lot of boba places are expensive compare to what they actually sell (boba, syrup, size) in my opinion. Their bakery are all baked fresh in the kitchen, some they still have it fresh on the baking tray. Place are pretty new and very clean. There are also a lot of tables in the store to hang out like boba shop. Y'all should give this place a try if you're around need some quick fix.
