Decent food. But the quality of this restaurant chain varies, some shops have better range and also quality than another branch.

Delicious Food Corner is a restaurant I keep coming back to for brunch.Their pork and preserved egg congee is a great (staple Cantonese-style) breakfast item, but a bit plain, so I like to add white pepper to it.The pineapple bun with butter is best eaten fresh when the bun is still steamy hot and the butter is slightly melted.F.Y.I. Don't get the toast with condensed milk to-go; it's super dry and they don't give you enough condensed milk and sugar powder. The (ceylon) milk tea is often made fresh and you can see the staff pouring/mixing it from a 2-foot height at the kitchen bar area. It's pretty amazing to watch them do that and I've never seen it being done in-person at other restaurants.I ordered the shrimp cheung fun with the breakfast combo meal (which is a great value), but I got the rice rolls with peanut sauce instead. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the combination is and it's more like a dessert item. It's basically like the Thai-style peanut sauce on top of cheung fun.At least for this location, it's almost always full of people with no tables, even just 30 minutes after opening. I usually order to-go for that reason, but parking in sparse in the plaza too.

Annie in the front provided exceptional great service. I was able to call in on news year's day and make reservations at 11am. Food came out hot fresh and tasty. There was plenty of parking in the lot. Next time I went to check out Yu cakes next door!

My family and I ate at Delicious Food Corner in Rosemead for a weekday lunch. Around noon, the plaza parking lot was packed and the casual restaurant was bustling, but there was still plenty of seating. The customer service was short, but our orders came out quickly. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Minced Pork and Egg Rice (non-spicy version), Shrimp with Scrambled Eggs and Rice, House Special Fish Paste & Lettuce Noodle Soup (unfortunately, forgot to take a pic of this one), and Hong Kong Style Pineapple Buns with Butter. For the entrees, we decided to do the lunch special, which includes a beverage for $2.50 per entree. The milk teas were great with the table-side condensed milk. The Minced Pork and Egg Rice was my fave entree! It was so aromatic and flavorful, and hard to share because you just want to eat it all yourself. Also, I liked the pineapple buns, which were a bit oily for me, but they were warm and sandwiched soft slices of butter, making them sweet & salty treats. I'd definitely return to Delicious Food Corner if I was in the area and craving this type of food!

I dont know if its because I am always starving when I come here, or if its because their food is really good, but this has become my go to chinese cafe. They have all the standard cafe items and portions are good here. They are really busy on the weekends. Be prepared to wait during peak hours. Their take out can also take a while, so I suggest calling ahead if you are in a rush or want to get your food fast. The parking lot can get kind of busy as well, but there is a back lot and a ton of street parking. A great chinese cafe in my book!

I love the service and food here. The price of the food is reasonable. This place does get really busy in the morning and during lunch time. I recommend coming here early to get a table.

This breakfast spot is amazing!!! I enjoy their breakfast combinations--whether the western or Chinese styles. Either comes with one of four snacks/sides--pineapple bun, noodles, shrimp roll, or smaller version of spam and macaroni. We originally came here for the Hong Kong style milk tea but what really blew me away was the pineapple bun with the butter. It's the perfect mix of sweet and savory. We waited until the butter melted a little and it was perfect. This restaurant is a great find! It gets a bit busy but honestly, the wait was worth it! It is located in the inside corner of the plaza.

I love Delicious Food Corner but a little disappointed with this Rosemead location. The first time here may be my last time. Although more convenient because located on Valley Blvd, the taste at this location is not as fresh and as great as their Monterey Park and San Gabriel location. Oh.. and the rice noodle wrapped in Chinese donuts stopped serving at 2pm! Wth! :-( that's what I came for. Boo! Price tags are cheaper than the MP location by $1 or $2, but quantity is smaller. For the tea time menu that includes the free drink, taking a cup to take with you will cost you $1. The cups are dirty and the plastic are peeling from the cup yet they are still using them. Restrooms are dirty, and service felt like a typical Chinese restaurant's service... rude and rushed....I think ill go back to the MP location from now. Service was excellent, food tastes better and cleaner.

Delicious Food Corner appears to be a franchise and eventhough there are a bunch of DFC locations around SGV, a number of locations seem to be owned by the same owners while others are not. How do I know? B/c some of the specials are only available at some and not all the DFC SGV locations. Aside from that fun fact, this review is for the Rosemead location on Valley. I've come to this location to pick up the breakfast congee combo special for take-out but this was my first time dining in. At most Cantonese cafes, my go-to is the baked chicken steak with tomato on rice. I came here for the Afternoon Tea Special AKA happy hour AKA early bird special between 3 - 5 pm. It's like eating a super early dinner but more time to digest your food before bedtime! They have a number of options for $8.99 - $11.99 and each comes with a free drink - coffee, lemon or milk tea or a red bean ice drink. TBH, with the red bean ice drink, it's such a great deal b/c it's practically like a dessert drink! We usually get the chicken wings (10/10) and baked chicken steak with rice (10/10) - our next thing to try is the chicken katsu/cutlet (we saw a table next to us order it and it looked delicious!). Portions are huge and with how pricey things are nowadays, I'll come back again any day for the tea time special. Did I mention they have this everyday? But it's dine-in only and don't worry, service here is attentive and courteous, which is an A+ for a Chinese restaurant. Really delicious and wallet-friendly!
