When the bread is freshly baked in the morning, the whole store is filled with the smell of baking. The bread is affordable, with an average of $2 per loaf. I love their chicken buns the most. The buns are soft, chewy and chewy. The fillings are filled with chicken, mushrooms and water chestnuts. You won’t get tired of eating them at all.

Domies has always been my families go to for cakes at birthdays or celebrations for many years. So it's disappointing to write this review. The quality of cake we got this time was so sad it was funny. The taro cake was 80% taro filling when we first cut into it everyone was surprised like where's all the cake. And why was it so unevenly distributed. If we wanted to eat taro like this we would have bought some at the supermarket for cheaper. My parents were initially against putting this online and went back to give them feedback. Instead of an apology the woman gave excuses and a rude attitude like "you should be happy we give so much taro filling" that doesn't explain how uneven the filling was; that's them being lazy. Then she said "ABCs (American born Chinese) don't know how to eat/ appreciate this taro cake" My parents are not ABC and the guests can tell this is not what good quality cakes generally should look like. This is not our first taro cake from here so we know how it should look like. I've included a picture of the cross section. The bottom of the cake was about a pinky or a centimeter thick. Maybe they are trying to cut costs by using less cake. We had a good laugh about this though.

A friend got these for us and I wasn't very thrilled with the quality or taste. Pretty standard fare of Asian style buns filled with taro, mung bean, etc. I've had better so wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Love love love their mango cakes! Other pastries are good but not amazing. We only go there for their mango cakes.

The mango was fresh, tender and sweet. The sponge cake was perfect and not dry. The creme/mango filling was fantastic

Good Chinese run bakery. Many popular Hong Kong Cantonese and Taiwanese style bread, cake, and pastry items: BBQ pork bun, "coconut butterfly", "pineapple bun", red bean bun, custards, black egg pastry, ... They also make birthday cakes that can also be preordered. During the festival, they also make moon-cakes etc

We preordered a crispy cake for pick up. When we got there, one of the workers was confused when we said we were picking up an order. We had informed her we ordered in advance. She asked what cake? We said crispy cake. She asked what flavor? I am pretfy sure crispy cake only had one flavor. She seemed confused so we asked if we could provide a name and phone number for the preorder. She was visibly frustrated and said " No. I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT CAKE YOU ORDERED." Another worker was able to find the slip and help us. Lady at cashier should wake up. Cake looked underwhelming but tasted pretty good.

Lots of goodies here. Steamed taro buns are my son’s favorite. I like the chocolate almond biscuits because it’s crunchy and just the perfect sweetness.
